Yup, lets just forfeit the season right now. Wasted year.
Agreed. Time to sell the team.

Maybe we got it right by investing 2 high draft picks in the O-line. Because Ozzie elected not to draft O-linemen and also lost players, it sounds like he could experience some problems. It would be a crying shame if his $100M QB got injured because of inadequate protection. Sounds like Ozzie has to consider a trade if he is so thin on talent.
Maybe we reached for James, but it sounds like we did a thorough evaluation and determined how he ranked compared to other options. Full marks to Hickey for following his board re a position of need and getting the guys he wanted. He has effectively supported his coach in presenting some options. There may also be some merit in getting an old veteran like Clabo or Winston for added depth and experience in the locker room.
Thanks for the pragmatic point of view. When there is no RT on the roster (not even a backup) heading into the draft, its always best to not draft one and try to fill the starting RT position with an injured UDFA who is projected to be a backup even when healthy.
That's an excellent summary of Ozzie's method. Sound philosophy and inevitable to be successful long term. Naturally there will be peaks and valleys. The hilarity is that as soon as the naysayers think they have discovered a valley and attempt to rip Ozzie, the next high point is likely already underway.

Ozzie needed a tackle and saw there was no value for any, so he didn't take one. Who do you trust-Ozzie or Hickey?
In 2009, the Ravens wanted to so make sure they got offensive tackle Michael Oher that they traded a fifth-round pick to move up three spots in the first round.
The Ravens went into the draft desperately needing a RT. The Ravens left the draft still desperately needing a RT. As of right now, the Ravens have no RT on the roster. How is that good?
If Newsome were our GM, and he didnt draft a RT, lets be real...you would be calling for him to be fired.
Get over it already. We needed o-line help much more than the Ravens did and Hickey did what he had to do to correct the major issue this team had from last year.
Who cares what the Ravens did.
I know that LaCanfora is not popular here but this article I found interesting. All I hear about trading down, well what if we had traded down with Denver or Seattle - Our starting right tackle would be wearing silver and blue...
