billichek will pay the dough for BIG TIME talent. revis is still considered the very best cb in the nfl. the pats need db's.

Completely different scenario. That was a trade, and Moss agreed to restructure his deal for the Patriots. Basically he took the "I wan't the ring" discount. Revis is a free agent, and has never been a true free agent in his life. He's still going for the quan.

It's going to take a 6 year 70 million dollar contract, with about 40 million guaranteed to lock down Revis.

Having Grimes and Revis on the same team would be disgusting...but its too good to be true. Plus, most big name FA's that end up here end up sucking anyway, so I would rather keep the money and hope he sucks wherever he signs. I bet he will be on the Pats though, and haunt us for life.

They paid him 16 million for one yr and gave the jets a #13 pick and a fourth round pick for his services for one yr......you don't think thats bad? it would be a better deal if he played more than one yr why rent a guy for 1 yr that would cost you that much cash and a #13 pick in the draft then you give them another pick the next yr (4th) and he playing for someone else lol your ok with that?

A) Talib is good but he's not half the player Revis is
B) Talib has had many off field issues and it's dangerous to give a guy like that big money
c) Belichick hates the Jets and would love to stick it to the Jets(as if he hasn't done enough already for an organization that was great to him)
