I'm going with Christian Akoye and Barry Word. Akoye in particular used to run over defenses.

Exactly what I was thinking.

I loved to watch the "Nigerian nightmare" run!

He ran over quite a few of his own linemen, too.

Gah you stole mine!

How about Craig "Ironhead" Heyward and Dalton Hilliard???

Two more guys who were similar and tough were Barry Foster and Bam Morris when they played for Pittsburgh.

Oh yeah.....just tap the A button while running and he was untacklable........man I wish we could play that game online like todays madden.....I had a killer move with the NT that got me like 8-15 sacks a game.

Oh but you CAN. My buddy and I started up a Tecmo Super Bowl league for people with high speed connections (it sucks when someone is using a modem, high lag). We started it like 6 years ago, and I'm not even in it any more, but you can find plenty of information at http://hstl.puretecmo.com/

And don't try and use that "killer move" with the nose tackle, it's called lurching, and will get you banned from most tecmo leagues. Most tecmo leagues have banned control of defensive linemen period because of lurching. Everyone knows about that move. The HSTL is also the only league that I know of that drafts and plays with players from the old tecmo super bowl. Other leagues come out with a new ROM every year that has updated NFL rosters and stats for each player that are at the whim of whoever created the ROM (kind of like Madden). The Dolphins probably SUCK in those leagues this year, but that's why they draft players so you can like draft Donovan McNabb and stuff.

I still like drafting from the old ROM though, my favorite players are guys like Thurman Thomas, QB Eagles (Randall Cunningham), Bo Jackson, Lawrence Taylor, and man I forget the name of that safety on the Bengals he's legendary for forcing fumbles he hits so hard.

As for the subject thread, I think Marcus Allen and Bo Jackson are actually a really good comparison man when they played together in Oakland. In the four years they played together, together they averaged like 300 rushes for 1300 yards, 40 catches for like 400 yards, and 12 touchdowns.

And that's what you hope for when you've got a dual-headed dragon like this. You're not going to get like 2000 yards a year or anything, I mean it's possible but would be a very special case. The idea behind it is with just one back he can get 1300 to 1800 yards a year if he's reeaally good (ie Ricky good), but having one guy you lose him and you are S.O.L. With two guys you can ensure that kind of production for a good long period of time.

Wasn't that David Fulture?
