Homer Assessment from the Weekend...

I think it'll be Pats vs. Giants again. Giants are hot, and Ravens have a lot of difficulty winning on the road this year. They lost to Jacksonville, Tennessee and Seattle on the road and their only convincing road win was against St. Louis

It all start up front with Frank Gore. His running sets up the passing. SF vs NY should a great game..probably going to the last minute. I hope it is not on CH7..LOL.
 
the pats don't like anyone to get physical with them...i expect the ravens to be very physical...and control the clock with the run game and play action...

definitely could go either way but i'll go with the more physical team

ha ha...was rough this morn when my 9 month old son was eye balling me at like 430...very rough...but i'm right as rain now and ready to do it all over again next sunday...

I am loving this match up both defenses are aggressive, the Giants have a slight and I say slight edge because I haven't seen San Fran as much as New York. Although from what I saw Sat the 9ers can get after the qb as good as anyone. Secondary edge goes to the 9ers for sure. Not sure I would call the Saints d cupcake. Those two final drives by Smith definetely open eyes!

while true that baltimore has lost to inferior teams on the road this season, i would have to say that i think winning in pittsburgh on sunday night was a pretty convincing win from the ravens this season.

they deff have the capability to win on the road vs good teams. they dont win pretty, but they pound the ball, play physical on defense, and win games.

i really hope ray lewis gets one more ring before he goes out, and also ed reed. 2 of the best defensive players of all time.

lol yep. I was at the local watering hole imbibing in some Chimay on tap coupled in with the occasional shot of Tulamore's Dew. Felt like an aristocrat.

BTW. shame on you for falling for my Kolb troll thread lol

the saints d can't stop anyone unless its in their own building and the offense is getting them leads and teams have to start forcing things...49ers d...put the p in physical...and their lbs can run like gazelles...that is one fast d...and aldon smith terrific explosion and hand strength player justin smith is a bull also...add in a guy who has ball skills like goldson and a knock you into next week strong safety like whitner and you have a dynamite unit...and its in their building

It seemed like Justin Smith spent the entire second have attached to Brees helmet. Their building and a east coast team traveling west. Imagine Harbaugh going to the Superbowl? Then we can have 45528 threads telling us stfu he was never leaving San Fran, even though Ross's comments fromz the round table transcript suggest otherwise.
 
the 9ers have to be careful with all that man to man coverage i saw on the outside against the giants...they were definitely keying on jimmy graham which they should have been doing but if you play a lot of man to man against hakeem nicks and victor cruz...you will pay...and pay big time

giants need a te who isn't a slug and that o would be lethal...that guy they have playing it now makes plays cause the defense forgets about him...he's slow as mollasses
