Hoops scoops...just when I thought we couldn't do anything stupider...

Probably the only player in the draft that I knew would be available to us that I would have been absolutely pissed had we not gotten him. Had he gone to another team in the division he would have killed us for years and all the people that are trashing the pick now would be complaining about it.

Trade out convenient trade out

lol

I do love this kid….I hope he lays out Revis on a block…

I could see him getting in Wallaces face for not fighting for a ball as well…

He will be a team leader by the end of the season…

Him and Tannehill are going to be magical together

Gotta say I was mad when we missed Allen Robinson right before our pick...but was happy with Landry. As you said...I think his speed is underrated...he has football speed...great breaks in routes..and is physical. The thing I like about Landry is that he is just the type of receiver Tannehill likes to throw to.

AWSOME pic. one of the top 5 players i had on my board.

he reminds me a LOT of mark clayton, even though landry is taller. same kind of game, same kind of hands and makes the catch you always have to rewind and watch again and again.

the landry and billy turner pics have me giggly. and anyone who thinks jarvis landry wont or cant play the first year is GOOFY!!

mathews just lost his job.

Receiver and corn with the first 2 was what had to happen, didn't really care on the order but thats what had to happen.

He looks like a bad_ arse, ...love the way he catches in traffic and is so tough. They said immediately after the pick he'll be a slot guy though....he's to replace Gibson?

I think Landry will be a starter eventually, but I think he plays special teams this year. Philbin will likely go with last years starters unless there is an injury.
Tannehill is not a deep bomb QB. He just doesn't have that skill. Guys like Landry fit his skill set. Guys that get fed the ball late or off balance and still make the catch.
He reminds me of a smaller Oronde Gadsen, or a shorter Chris Chambers.

I actually think he and Chambers are roughly the same size in both height and weight. Chambers always seemed to look bigger than he really was.

Yeah, if I recall correctly Chambers was about 5' 11" but he had the arm span of somebody several inches taller hence given the impression of extra height

When was the last time we took a WR in the first 2 rounds? Ginn?

I don't know anything about this guy but I took a look at some highlight reels and he reminds me a bit of Steve Smith. I like that he looks like he plays with some fire. Hope he pans out.

Who do you think he replaces on this roster?

Not sure, but he is going to be be on the field….too much fight and passion….I think he will quickly become a fan favorite.
