Hoops scoops...just when I thought we couldn't do anything stupider...

I think there's room in the offense for Wallace, Hartline, Gibson, Landry and Matthews. It will be interesting to see how the team makes it work.

Landry more than any other WR in this draft is a QB's best friend. He knows how to uncover underneath, he fights for every ball, and he does all the little things. It's clear that the FO are dead set on doing everything they can to give Tannehill every chance to succeed this season. I don't love that we're neglecting the defense, but I like the players and the value in RD's 2 and 3. Landry's blocking in the slot will also allow Miami to take advantage of nickel and dime packages in the running game.

I expect us to draft a RB in the next two rounds. Seastrunk and Carey are still on the board.

Tannehill has until Hackenberg comes out to get it together.

I think lazor has plans to use 5 wrs on gamedays.. Maybe not 5 wr sets but use all 5 wrs...

Great hands, tough guy who will block anyone. ...finally got a tough wide receiver and not a diva...maybe Wallace can learn from him??

Just like that all the hoops ball washers hav been drawn back in.. Love Landry, like billy turner good day for hickey. I like how he is going after tough guys with intangibles.. If our qb had instinct and intangibles this will be a big year

I think Landry will be a starter eventually, but I think he plays special teams this year. Philbin will likely go with last years starters unless there is an injury.
Tannehill is not a deep bomb QB. He just doesn't have that skill. Guys like Landry fit his skill set. Guys that get fed the ball late or off balance and still make the catch.
He reminds me of a smaller Oronde Gadsen, or a shorter Chris Chambers.

chambers was a speed guy with below avg hands..that is pretty much the opposite of Landry

Tanney's going to love this guy

I could definitely see them use 5 WR sets. Teams would definitely have a very tough time matching up if the o-line can provide enough protection. Which lets face it even with the picks so far could still be questionable at times.

Jarvis Landry is going to easily be known as 1 of the steals of the 2014 Draft. This kid is a "PLAYMAKER". There are several things that stick out about him, 1) He has a very High Football IQ 2) His intangibles are Off the Charts 3) He plays Faster then he Times and 4) He's a natural LEADER!!! Landry is one tough SOB and he will push and challenge every single player on the team to better themselves; He's also like a coach on the field. His catch radius is tremendous and will help in terms of him being able to make catches when most would think the ball was uncatchable. I couldn't be HAPPIER with Jarvis Landry being a Miami Dolphin. Aquan Boldin and Hines Ward are 2 guys Landry will remind us fans most about in terms of having a similar skill set. I look forward to seeing him play. He has a chance to be one of the all time BEST Draft Picks in Dolphins History!!!! Way to go Hickey.

This kid is easily just as good as teammate Odell Beckham at the bottom line.... playing football. Landry was one of my 5 favorite players in the entire draft along with Deone Bucannon, Greg Robinson, Ryan Shazier, and David Fales.

Literally every game, he made at least one catch that nobody else in the country could make. He did it every game. Todd McShay nailed it when he said this kid has the best ball skills of any skill player in the draft. He's tougher than all the receivers Miami has had in the past decade combined. I used to watch him as a freshman when he only played special teams for LSU covering kicks. He was such a devastating hitter that Georgia was afraid to run kicks out of the endzone in the SEC Championship Game. One of the more amazing impacts on a football game that I've seen.

Miami is drafting football players now. I don't know what this Hickey guy's philosophy is, or how he identifies talent.... but he's killing this draft. He knows what a football player looks like. Bill Parcells can't teach Jeff Ireland that. You just have it or you don't.

When I heard the name anquan boldin attached to him then saw his highlights. it rang true to me.
