Hope We Can Get The Game In on Monday Night: Charts Don't Look Good

This storm is way to far away to predict. It could weaken to a thunderstorm by the time it even gets near land. You won't know for sure until a couple days before it actually hits. Until then anything could happen. You have to take these predictions for what they are: PREDICTIONS. No need to freak out just yet.

Too early to tell, start to worry on Saturday when forecasts start to get more accurate for us. Keep an eye on it but don't panic.

The Bermuda high is steering the storms towards the ocean. I think we'll be OK. The models are showing this as well. And as stated earlier the distance of the storm helps us also.

We shall see I wont get worrie until they say the storm is going to hit.

If the game is postponed, this will suck so bad!!! (praying that the damage to the coastal areas is very minor and for no loss of life as well)

You sold the tix? That game in Arizona turned out to be free admission because they couldn't set up a ticketing system on such short notice for a different stadium.

Yeah. I was able to get a refund. Don't remember it a 100 percent, but as I recall, I had bought the tix on StubHub. I couldn't make the 8 hour drive out to the game - as it was on a Tuesday Night as I recall. I was able to get my money back though. Still sucked because I had been looking forward to the game all year. Miami usually makes a trip out west every other year or so. San Francisco, Oakland or San Diego.

I can tell a lot of you guys dont live here.

RELAX.

Talk to me on Sunday night about where its at. Before that your just working yourself up for nothing.

Agreed is a bit early to worry about the storm many things can happen over 2 thousand miles of ocean
Though If this storm doesn't make a more northerly turn within a couple days storms like these will typically go near the Caribbean and then that increases our odds of getting near south florida..

Florida has been lucky for the most part the past few years we maybe coming into a more storm weary cycle
i am not one to take hurricanes for granted as went through andrew sleeping with a mattress over my window and neighbors home destroyed and then witnessing the power of katrina before she went to new Orleans..

The storm doesn't have to be a hurricane to call of the game a tropical storm 60 mile an hour winds would be enough..
Though if it is coming here it would be strong with hot water to feed it..

You're right about that.

I live in Southern California. (Left Miami just after Hurricane David 83 I believe?). I just know that if it's close (off the coast at game time) the league's going to postpone it. They can't move it to our bye week because NE's Bye week is not the same time as us.

Hurricane David was 78 or 79. I know this because I left in '80, and I was there for David.

this thing is past miami now, and going north, then east out to sea, not even close?

IF it's postponed, what happens? On Friday might the league decide to have it on Saturday Night? Or would they push it to Tuesday Night?

Most models from this afternoon/evening have it curving out to sea, still too early to tell. But even if it DOES threaten Florida, it wouldn't get there til midweek at the earliest. All those dots, btw are 12 hours apart. Game or not, I'm hoping and praying it doesn't affect anyone on the east coast. You guys on that side of the country have had enough bad weather for a while.

thanks for the models, and thanks for the good luck wishes. not funny saying "its rex's problem" and crap like that. i saw what andrew did and i had relatives down there back then even though i was young. i saw the outskirts of irene while in bocca, drove through some bands in south carolina, and witnessed it really screw things up for ppl here in new jersey. i hope these things continue to steer clear of florida, nj, new england, new york, new orleans, etc for the rest of the season. i dont think anyone needs any more b.s.
