House Cleaning Coming?

So just because somebody "got to meet Philbin" and take a tour of all that stuff, it makes them qualified to say that? Sorry, not buying into this at all.

He only heard or should I say stated his opinion on what I've been reading here for a few weeks and it's getting the same ones all riled up again about firing Ireland.

My 3rd cousin on my mother's side of the family has a friend that works with a guy that knows somebody and I think he said the same thing.

A friend of mine who is connected to the Dolphins just returned from the Buffalo game. They brought me some Dolphin gear and the autographs of Ryan Tannehill and John Offerdahl. I can't give you their name, but if I did you could Google it and see their connection.

This person, and others connected to the Dolphins, got to meet Philbin, Ireland and others, go into the coaches offices, the owner's suite, etc. They said that they all put on a good front talking about how much they have improved, etc (Like business people trying to sell you a product). But it was obvious that all was not well. They said Ross is cordial but obviously "frustrated" with the team. They very much believe that unless they come up with a winning season, Ross will can everyone and start over. That was the atmosphere.

They said the trade for McKinney was 2 weeks too late and an act of desperation as McKinney is old and hurt.

The game against NE will tell us a lot - my friend thinks Miami has no chance, because the coaches won't change anything to fix the problems - especially with the o-line.

This is not my opinion of the team, although I agree with much of it. Just telling you what this person is seeing from the inside of the organization.

For what it is worth, my friend is a sports writer and works in and around the Dolphins on a weekly basis. This was not their first time to meet Philbin and the others in Miami. He was just responding to my questions about what's going on or going to happen to this team. The up front people are putting on a good front, but it was obvious to my friend when they saw Mr. Ross that he is frustrated and growing impatient. He is a businessman and the team is not only losing games, but losing the fan base ($$$). Something has to change or heads will roll.

Again, it's their opinion and nothing shocking. Omar Kelly (whom my friend doesn't much care for) reported an after the Bills game meeting of Ross with Philbin and Ireland. He reported that Philbin and Ireland both looked a bit pale upon leaving the meeting. Ross has invested too much money in this year's team to allow mediocrity to continue. My friends opinion makes sense, especially if they lose the next two games - which my friend believes they will.

I have an uncle that knows the janitor. He helped my cousin sneak in, to get a feel for the atmosphere in the facility. What he told me is the exact opposite of what the OP posted.

If they werent willing to change anything then why the change to Mckinney?

You kind of made a point that does not make sense? no?

I love these threads. "A friend" and his connections. Impressive. And the fact he can infer all these things just from how Ross acts.

Wait...your friend is a psychic isn't he...or holy s*** your friend is miss Cleo!

Dumb thread number 2 I've read since i woke up. Congrats.
