Left So Fla, never the Fins...
claytonAndDuper said:the heat in miami is for the opposing team? im new to Fla. ive heard it for years thah we cant win in the snow and cold in foxboro and buffalo. so is it on the same level for us if we had home field advantage and hosted an afc championship?
The humidity does get to some guys towards the end of the game...But only if they are out of shape or not prepared by their coaches...the other thing is that some guys don't hydrate well enough before the game and get drained quickly once in the heat...Does it affect the whole team, no...just individuals...The snow and cold doesn't affect us as much as you would think..Now, there are exceptions...the blizzard we played in NE a couple of years ago affected the team...not because of the weather, but that it took away our defensive quickness and gave the NE offense an edge. But the difference between cold and heat, to me, is that both teams are affected by the cold, whereas we seem to be less affected by the heat...
