How big of a steal is Jarvis Landry becoming?

Gotta give it to hoops. He was ecstatic when we made that pick.

So was SlimmJr who got to see him up close.... declaring he might end up as one of the franchise GOATS, . loved the James pick too and commented that Hickey understands how to pick good football players. Hickey has demonstrated better judgement than anyone else in the organization and should be empowered to decide on Philbin and if negatively, hire his replacement.

I was mostly pleased that Hickey drafted him for two reasons. The first being that he was billed as a player but fell b/c of lack of timed speed. I like taking those kinds of players when other teams choose to pass. And second, that it showed that Hickey recognized (unlike many) that the WR corps on this team was weak and needed help.

But while I loved the pick, I never imagined Landry would look as good as he does this early. I am extremely excited about his prospects and I hope the sky is the limit for him.

Love the kid. Strong is a great way to describe his efforts. Wallace, Landry, Matthews should be the top 3 guys. I'd send Hartline packing in the offseason and hope that Gibby heals up enough to contribute as a number 4 guy.

Matthews should be getting the ball more, he is a bull when he gets the rock in his hands.

Actually he's not that big of a steal.

He's just actually a second round draft pick that's playing like a second round draft pick should.

It's been a long time since suffering dolphans could say that. So it makes him seem way better, lol.

I love the kid! He's got some kind of magic! Outstanding pick by Hickey. He plays like a savvy veteran, runs great routs and has remarkable hands. His upside is off the charts and I can't wait to see more out of this super prospect. Work ethic is amazing and if we can build a team with players like Landry then we'll have lasting success. Chemistry is building quickly with Tannehill and with that comes trust. #14 is just starting to be a great Dolphin player!

He's a second round pick, he's supposed to produce, so I wouldn't call him a steal. He was also at a position where a ton of guys were drafted ahead of him and a lot of those guys have looked like they have the talent so far.

Landry was a good pick and as long as he continues to produce, he will help us save at least 3 million next year by cutting/trading Hartline or Gibson.

His toughess reminds me of OJ McDuffie

Not a steal at all. It was a very deep WR class. He was pushed down because of that and lack of timed speed. He's a good player. But I don't think he's a 1st Round pick in any draft. So I can't call him a steal. But good value at the back end of the 2nd.

he's only a steal if he ends up being OJ Mcduffie.

When he returns kicks, he morphs into him in my mind.

He's certainly better than the useless Brian Hartline, seriously, without the double amd triple moves that take half a quarter to develope he's completely useless.

Matthews should be playing over Hartline.

But yeah, I'm happy with Jarvis, he's only getting better, he's also quietly one of the better returners in the NFL this year.

He is playing how a 2nd rounder should so I don't consider it a steal by any means.

And along w everyone on here I cannot figure out why Matthews has not gotten more targets and playing time this yr. all he seems to is produce when he's out there. Philbin must really not like him.
