I think he is doing pretty good. So good that he has been running with the first team in some cases and has a realistic shot at unseating Clemons before the Patriots game.
Didnt he actually start ahead of Clemons last game?
I love Clemons and Jones, but this pre season neither one has really pulled ahead. I think the fear was they didn't want Jones out there because they were worried he'd make more mistakes than Clemons, but I can't find any faults with his game. Based on the fact that he's shown a knack to get to the ball, I'd start him over Clemons, but either way they're both awesome and I'd be happy with either.
His range isn't good. I dont like him in Nolan's single high looks at all.
