How did reshad jones look?

Was wearing a fins jersey if I recall correctly.
 
I think he is doing pretty good. So good that he has been running with the first team in some cases and has a realistic shot at unseating Clemons before the Patriots game.
 
His range isn't good. I dont like him in Nolan's single high looks at all.

Didnt he actually start ahead of Clemons last game?
 
I love Clemons and Jones, but this pre season neither one has really pulled ahead. I think the fear was they didn't want Jones out there because they were worried he'd make more mistakes than Clemons, but I can't find any faults with his game. Based on the fact that he's shown a knack to get to the ball, I'd start him over Clemons, but either way they're both awesome and I'd be happy with either.
 
i feel like he could do some work at SS, I would give ol' Yeri Bell a breather and put in Jonsey for a look

Agreed. I think they are our safeties for years to come. YB will be gone soon as his play is not "outstanding". We need playmakers!
 
James Sanders was released by the patriots, I would love to scoop him up and solve this whole FS issue.
 
As much as I am hoping for Jones to succeed, considering he is a much better hitter, as well as a better ballhawk, ROBERTHORRY is right, his range is nowhere as good as Clemons, and he does seem to be out of position quite a bit more then as Clemons.

Jones's ceiling is higher then Clemons, and if the defense finally clicks for him, he will overtake Clemons (even with Clemons superior speed), but for now, the FS that is consistantly in position to make the plays (Clemons) is the one that will probably start.
