How do you react after Dolphins losses?

I think for most people it get's better as you get older. When I was in high school I used to get depressed for about 2 to 3 days. I think the earliest I ever went to bed, (not including being a child) was after the Fins lost to the Colts in 92 or 93 I want to say. That was the game that went down to the wire, only to see Dan Marino throw an interception to Steve Emtman who promptly returned it for a touchdown. This was before his knee problems. I think it was a 4:00 game and I was so depressed that I turned the t.v. right after words and went to bed.

Now that I'm older now though I don't take it so hard. I still want the Fins to win but I don't let it get me depressed like I used to.

Lets just say the family knows to stay away from me for a couple of days and they better not ask for anything. Reverse if they win.

Lets just say the famly knows to stay away from me for a couple of days and they know not to ask for anything. On the other hand if they win, it's just the opposite.

I get angry and will just stay quiet as I do whatever it is I have to do for the remainder of the day. Even my family knows that I am upset because Miami lost so they just say darn it!

Slappy... Best Damn signature ever, dude.

I actually broke my thumb throwing something at the TV set back when the Fins lost to the Bills on MNF back in the early 80s.

I'm the only guy I know who has an injury from a Fins game (excluding opponents ) who never actually played for the Fins. Yes, I'm very proud of this accomplishment.

Oh no you aren't.

I've broken the smallest knuckle on my right hand punching inanimate objects during bad games - twice.

I get pissed.. scream at all the calls that the Ref's screwed us on.. then complain about a player or two and a coach or so.. then turn everything off and I can't read or watch anything football related for a couple of days... except maybe MNF... but my midweek i'm better and ready to root on my fins again.

after the jacksonville mia loss in the playoffs in 99 or 2000 ?? i wanted to give jimmy johnson a burr and and beat up every sportscaster in the country.
then i after we loss to the raiders in 01 i wanted to cut jay's ears off then slap zach and jason upside the head then i wanted to fire all the wrs on the roster .

after we loss to baltimore i wanted to tape jay fiedler to a rocket and fire it towards north korea. then i wanted to tell dave to hit the road.
then last year came and i wanted to head butt a a bus slap hillary clinton on the *** and kiss pam oliver then turn her over my lap and spank her.:roflmao:
but i was sick after a loss especially a bad loss. i would be so mad i would want to drink three kegs of beer or drink until i was able to walk on water

My family also knows to stay away from me as well after a loss.. but after a win.. they could ask for the world and i'll probably say yes and get it... that's when my son strikes and asks for all kinds of things..

Last year it did become a question how are they going to lose this week?

The years before when they don't make playoffs and blow it in the last game or get crushed in the playoffs to Jacksonville. That's when I get really angry and I just avoid problems before i snap.

I once threw the Christmas tree out a window........Lazy boy chair.....out the window....if Dolphins lose last second.....i grab the videotape out of the VCR....and just rip out the tape.....every inch. When I was in High School.....I would fake sick on Monday so I would not have to face my "friends" but man on Tuesday they were waiting double. I live in Ohio....so I was the only Dolphins fan....so they knew where i hid. I soooooooooo believe that my MOM is a jinx that if she wandered into a room.....I just yell and scream till she left....man I hated her "on purpose" visits.....saying sooooo how are they doing and act like she was gonna watch.....hell no get out mom.

Lots of screaming...jersey and hat throwing....then depression

I then cheer for who ever is playing the Vikings! That helps a little if the queens lose!
