No the coaches actually do the hiring. If you're going to make a statement get the FACTS STRAIGHT. And it's common knowledge among 99% of NFL fans that the coaches get to hire the assistants. So...

True, they were on the field a lot, but they are repeatedly owned in the run game and we got almost no pressure on Lewis. This has been overlooked with RT coming back late in games, but it has been an issue all season.

Also, I like Pouncey....but he needs to be moved from center. He continues to give away when he is going to snap, and his shot gun snaps are still and issue. I would say 80% of his shotgun snaps were low and to the left, this takes valuable time away from Tanne to look down field, especially when the line has issues already!
 
Yeah Ireland is horrible at his job but he's got help. Brian Gaine is head of the league scouting department for the franchise. He's responsible for scouting Wheeler, Ellerbe, etc. But it's Ireland's idiocy that pulled the trigger on them.

This coaching staff deserves blame as well. The talent that Ireland HASN'T assembled on this team can't make up for the stupid game plans this coaching staffs put out. It also can't survive very many off days by Ryan. Ryan had a tough day today recognizing the Jills blitz packages. Don't get me started on the Oline.

This was a complete failure from top to bottom for this franchise.

Yes, he's a moron when it comes to football. We will probably back our way into the playoffs and he will be happy...probably give everyone a raise!

I got the facts straight, he hired philbin and philbin hired his assts. same bs. That's not the point I was making. Ireland will never ever put together a Super Bowl team because he is not capable of doing it. Very few ppl are capable of putting together great teams unfortunately for us he is not one of them. His history clearly justifies my comments. While I love your support for the dolphins you and I clearly have different opinions on Ireland. Which is ok... Up to this point Ireland haters clearly are correct because this team hasn't done anything under his rule.

This points all to Ireland again. Pouncey was projected to be an elite nfl guard but. No Ireland and fist pump wanted him to be a center. These guys have no clue. Pouncey should be a guard, period. The only reason he's good at center is because he's a beast. Put him at guard and he'll be a pro bowl player every yr.
 
Let me talk about jake long. Jake long was projected to be a beast at right tackle. But again the knuckleheads in charge wanted him to be a Lt which he did great when healthy but clearly jake natural position should of been right tackle in the nfl. Ireland doesn't have a clue.

LOL. Yep, he probably will. He knows most of us will never stop rooting for the Dolphins. I know I won't. I am a glutton for punishment. ;-)
 
simply put, when ireland gets fired would anyone be willing to put money on him ever being a GM again in the NFL? wont happen.
