In todays NFL, any quarterback can rise its team up out of the ashes and win the whole shootin' match (or at least make the trip). I give you Warner, Dehlomme (sp?), Johnson, Dilfer, Collins, etc. None of these guys were shining gems of a QB before or since. By the same token, my guess is that Manning, Vick and Culpepper, with all thier greatness, will never seal the deal.LostInPatsLand said:I know there isn't enough information to commit to the idea our QB's stink, but it's a legitimate fear. What do you guys (and gals) think?
Why? Because the key these days is balance and chemistry. Something the Patsies have perfected (hate to say it).
So while it would be nice to have a blue-chip at QB, I'll take the guy who's best suited for the team, the system, and for God's sake can connect on a deep ball when its there (unlike Fiedler).
