How Far Can We Go without a Decent QB?

I know there isn't enough information to commit to the idea our QB's stink, but it's a legitimate fear. What do you guys (and gals) think?
In todays NFL, any quarterback can rise its team up out of the ashes and win the whole shootin' match (or at least make the trip). I give you Warner, Dehlomme (sp?), Johnson, Dilfer, Collins, etc. None of these guys were shining gems of a QB before or since. By the same token, my guess is that Manning, Vick and Culpepper, with all thier greatness, will never seal the deal.

Why? Because the key these days is balance and chemistry. Something the Patsies have perfected (hate to say it).

So while it would be nice to have a blue-chip at QB, I'll take the guy who's best suited for the team, the system, and for God's sake can connect on a deep ball when its there (unlike Fiedler).

Ask the 2001 Baltimore Ravens or 2003 Bucs about that.

Even though a good QB is a very important part of a team, what wins games is a team, not a player. If Brady played for any other team, he might not be as good, If Belichick coached without a Tom Brady as QB, they might not be as successful. Chemistry, teamwork, heart is what makes a team good, not how many great players your team has.

Miami has alot of talent at RB and WR, and that may help to counter the lack of talent at QB.
