how long will frerotte and feeley last on this team?

Palm Beach Post has an article posted today that says that the Dolphins may cut Feeley this afternoon if they're unable to trade him. Even if not, I think his performance in the first and last preseason games were so abysmal that the Dolphins will look for a cheaper emergency-QB option on the waiver wire, and that Feeley will not be on Miami's roster come next Sunday.

well, releasing AJ now only costs us 600,000 for this year because of the prorated bonus, and 1.8 mil next year, which is peanuts.

they couls sign somebody to the rookie min this year (Berlin for example), and end up saving money this year but cutting AJ now
 
if feeley clears waivers, there is no cap hit at all, and i'd bet that is in the thought process of the front office

there is a cap hit, because he signed a contract with Spielman after he was traded to Miami. It wasnt a Booker case, where we could cut him at any time, and not take a cap hit

ohyea, my bust. nobody has to assume that contract if he clears, i had it backwards.
