We have to release one of them next year if we lose to Philly do we give Griese another shot?

There is no reason to give Griese another shot. He is a horrible fit for this team and he would get murdered behind this offensive line. If Jay got sacked a lot in the last game, imagine what would have happened to Griese.

Jay can play very well. There is no reason to bench him.

griese has no shot unless jay goes down. which may be monday night. he's got a sore knee from the NE game.

Brian's days in a Phinz uniform are over.....

It's a shame because I thought he'd be our next great QB....I must have been high!!!

PHINZ RULE!!!

You're right it is a shame b/c even with Jays winning % that getting lower every week what about all the weeks he is standing on the sideline hurt? Has he played 12 games in a season yet?

He lost one game since his comeback, so it isn't "getting lower every week." Jay is the one who wins games, not Griese.

One game? He lost the most important game of the season.

This is absolutely why Jay shouldn't be our QB. This was the year he had t stay healthy. He didn't and he cost us the season again but Greise losing two games out of four. Jay has not stayed healthy all season ever. He misses an average of 5-6 games per year.

VERY WELL SPOKEN did all you Fiedler junkies read that?

It will not snowing in Miami on Monday night, so Fiedler will bounce back and beat the Eagles..

This TEAM will bounce back and beat the Eagles.
Hopefully Jay will be ONE of the reasons that they win and not one of the negatives.

GOOD GOSH, when will you people learn to look up stats and not pull them out of your ***?

Jay's starts:

2000: 15
2001: 16
2002: 10
2003: 8 (with 3 games left)

That does not average out to 5-6 per year. If we assume Jay doesn't play the next 3 games, his average is less than 4 missed starts a year. If he makes all 3, it's 3 missed starts a year.

I agree that even that is too many, so don't think I'm defending the guy. I just won't understand what's so hard about opening up a window, going to your favorite site with stats, and looking before you type.

Hard to tell after he lost another close one for us Sunday

Yeah, that loss was ALL Jay's fault

He must have been the one who decided not to go for it on 4th down at midfield...
