How many teams need a QB

I don't see Tennesee as being the very worst, but I won't be surprised if they are one of them. They have some good players, but they have lost a ton of talent and a starting WR tandem of Calico and Bennett is going to scare nobody.

Bennett had better numbers than any Phins wideout last season, and was the 3rd leading wideout in the AFC.

Harrington is on the bubble, this is his make or break year. Same with David Carr.

hARRINGTON YES...BUT cARR DOESN'T HAVE THOSE TYPES OF TOOLS. i THINK THE JURY IS STILL OUT ON cARR, but he's gonna be their qb for the next 8 years.

if calico can stay healthy he'll surprise, hes big and fast, he could be good if he can stay on the field...

I don't think Calico absolutely sucks, but the presence of two average WR's (and BTW Bennett is the better of the two right now) is not going to elevate a team with a ton of holes on it to victory. Just because we have Thomas, Taylor, Madison, Seau, Carter, Holliday, Chambers, Boston, Booerk, doesn't mean we are going to be a winning team. We are both in rebuilding modes.

agreed, fully... his loss last year was devastating for them... he is a terrific player who suffered from the horse collar tactic of Roy Williams last year... damaged both knees, however... so that is troubling...

not sure where anyone mentioned they'd be a winning team... just far from the worst...

I think that Tennessee will have the number 1 pick next year, and they will definitely take Leinart. Norm Chow, Leinarts old OC, is now Tennessee's OC.

We might get the next best QB or a CB.
that would be interesting. Volek however , IMO could be a starting qb. I'd take him over Dilfer, Gus, AJ, Griese, Grossman, and a few others.

Cardinals could very well go QB in the first round.....Warner is not a long term answer and may not even be in the short term. Josh McCown is certainly not a reason not to take a 1st round QB.

Cleveland could as well for the same reasons. (insert Dilfer for Warner, and Frye for McCown).

I agree on the Ravens.

As for the Cowboys, the ONLY they would pick a 1st rnd QB next year is if Parcell's retires after the season. Not because Drew Henson is the answer, because he's been horrible so far, but because Fattie isn't pantient enough to deal with a rookie signal caller. And as for him not going with Drew being proof that he's passed his prime.....will you still say that if they go 10-6 and win a playoff game without using Henson??

Dude, please...... Chapstick will wreck them like he wrecked the Bills. That dude sucked so much c0ck last year, we started calling him Chapstick.

Henson is the answer, and will you see that, if Parcell's gets past his ego, and lets Drew play without the handcuffs on, and he finally gets to use his skills. The thing you all dont get, and I preach it all the time, hype kills, good or bad. Guys that have talent, but are handcuffed by some dimwit Coach, that wants to regulate every fascit of the game, instead of letting a guy, with alot of talent, make a play, will never win. 2 years ago with Vick is a perfect example. Everybody talked about his injury 3 years ago lingering, nahhhh, it was Reeves. Just like they started out last year, handcuffing him, but by week 5, they got the picture, and let him just line-up and play. And he started winning.

Same with Andre Johnson. Hugely under-utilized. Pretty good number, but never moves from the flanker. No motion, no nothing. He could do 2-3 times as good, if he was utilized properly.

Case with Chapstick, he is done. That dog just wont hunt anymore. You can try to get him to with a milkbone or somethig, but he wont. Dallas goes nowhere, unless Drew plays. Period!

Oh ya, I forgot, dont listen to me, because I dont know anything. Just ask all the people back in April, when I said we had a bad draft, and they could stop laughing at me. Now, I think I get the best laugh of all of em!

ummm... what?... sorry, not to get too far off topic here, but i really don't see Tennessee as being the worst team in the league, guys... take another long hard look at their starting lineup....

let me rattle off a few names: McNair, Henry, Calico, Hopkins, Olson, Kinney, Bennett, Haynesworth, Bullock, Sirmon, Packman Jones, Hentrich...

if you honestly believe San Fran. and Cleveland are better than the Titans, please sell me some of what you're smoking... :goof:

Dime bag, for a hundred bucks. If you think Tennessee aint last, you will pay 100. Pacman aint signed yet, last I knew. It dont even matter if he did. Travis and Chris in the backfield? Nough said....
