how many wins would Moore have

Moore >>> Turnoverhill.

Its as simple as that. Matt Moore has much better pocket awareness and throws a nice deep ball. Wallace would probably light it up if we play Moore.

Back in '84 Moore could chuck the pigskin a quarter mile.

As pissed as I am about the amount of turnovers Tannehill is committing you don't flush a guy that has shown an ability to carry this team. These are called growing pains. He'll finish the year as the starter and then be evaluated going forward.

If this trend of turnovers continues, I am drafting a QB round 1 until they find what's needed to succeed.

Just curious, how long of a trend do you need to see before it's time to pull the plug? I am all for him starting, but he needs to learn from his mistakes, not continue to keep making them over and over.

There is no point in benching him this season. If he doesn't improve then our QB search continues, but we don't have a better option on the roster right now.

It's like déjà vu back in 2010 when Henne began to struggle and half the board were calling for Pennington to start over Henne...in hindsight if Pennington hadn't gotten hurt in his first game back as a starter we might have done pretty well that season. Sometimes the switch to the veteran is the right think to do when your on the brink of playoff elimination. No point in starting Moore after they are out of contention.

Fans got to remember just because you draft a 1st round QB and he shows glimpses of talent and potential it means nothing if he doesn't stay consistent and improve each game (I.e. Sanchez, Young, Ponder, Locker)

Howmany wins would Mooer have this year at this point. I think 4-3. please don't tell me he shouldnt be in there because Ryan Tannehill is losing us games by throwing back breaking interceptions and fumbles the ball.the stuff in between is with mediocre quarterbacks do.

It's an impossible question to answer. Matt Moore has 33 career TDs in 37 career games. Tannehill has 23 TDs in 23 career games (22 if you say the game at the Jets doesn't count). Let's not pretend Matt Moore is some fantastic talent who is getting screwed by not being a starter.

I say we'd at least win against the Bills and the Pats because I think Moore would of been more careful with the football because of his experience. So Id say we would be 5-2 right now with Moore. Look I'm a Tannehill fan and hope the kid improves quickly, but I think Matt Moore could of played just as well or better than Tannehill in the first 3 weeks

There is no possible basis for this prediction. It is impossible to say Miami would be 5-2. Why even attempt to guess? There are infinite factors that would determine what Miami's record would be if Moore played. You can't just say they'd be 5-2. What if x player got hurt, or the weather was different, or Moore tears his ACL on his first snap?

4/3 easy

He is better than Thill.

People seem to forget that he had THREE 3 TD games in 2010.

Moore you mean? He threw 5 TDs and 10 INTs for Carolina in 2010. 2011 was where he played for Miami and had the 3 3 TD games you're referring to.

One of them was the game when Miami led 17-0 at halftime in New England only to lose 27-24.

7 of the 13 games he threw for under 200 yds. He had 204 yds in one game, 209 in another, and 217 in yet another. He threw for 95 yds vs. Philadelphia. He had no 300 yd games.

Whats amazing to me is that a few posters on here have so much more insight than 32 NFL Gm's that have no want to have Matt Moore as thier starting qb.

Probably 2-3. I like Moore, but I just don't think this offense suits him, and when I see him play in it, it just doesn't seem to click.

Its amazing how many more wins is guaranteed for a qb that has never been on a winning team

I don't think we would have any more wins then we have now but it's impossible to know for sure. Maybe more maybe less, anyone who's acting like they know one way or the other is just supporting an agenda. The one thing we should all know is true, whether it be successful or not Moore would be heaving it down the field with a much higher frequency than Tannehill is. Even with the shoddy protection, he'd be trying it. Moore's down the field agression is the biggest thing I liked about him. Moore had a rep for taking bad sacks on here and fumbling a lot, sound familar or am I missing something? Finheaven would be comical is Moore ever did come in and play well though. C'mon you have to admit the excuses that would be flying as to why our backup QB is playing well would be hillarious. Only our fanbase would make excuses as to why someone they don't like ios playing better than someone they do. Remember in 2011 there were still people butt hurt about Moore being better than Henne LOL! I would get a good laugh out of that.
