he came out and shocked us all and decided to make Sage our starting QB? Personally, I would give him credit for stepping out and thinking outside the box. From what I've seen out of the other 2 guys, you could say that he deserves a shot but I doubt he gets it.

I would feel that he has given up on the season before it starts....Sage hasn't been able to distinguish himself from several QBs we've had in here in the last three years...what has changed...he beat up on some 3rd stringers ???

After seeing the QB's stats from the preseason, I say sure, why not. One of three things will happen: 1) the team won't be good (which won't be any different than last year); 2) the team will be mediocre (which will be better than last year); or 3) the team will be good (which will also be better than last year). And should option 1) happen, then we'll get a high draft choice and a good chance to land a good QB in the draft. So sure, let's start Sage and see what happens.

I'm giving Saban the benefit of the doubt for at least 2 years and probably more no matter what moves he makes. He deserves a shot to show what he can do before anyone even tries to analyze his coaching and personell skills.

I did not welcome anything Wanny did. I beleive in Saban. I had no faith in Wanny. So, NO different attitude. I think Gus=Sage that's all. One is no better than the other IMO.

The only reason I ask is that you said that you trust Saban because he is the coach and he must know more than the fans. That being the case, Wanny was the coach and I don't care what anyone here says, he knows more than us so why not the blind trust in his judgment the way you seem to blindly trust Saban's judgment (being that it is better than ours)?
