Is he a bust, though? Or do we just have a dinosaur DC who doesn’t trust rookies?

I don't think he completely sucks, but we were a team in the middle of the run, and coaches do not trust rookies at that spot, they need to build the trust, they want veterans. I think it's okay.
I trust Fangio to know if a guy can play or not. Under Vic, the following players have had career years :
- Wilkins (Sacks)
- Sieler (Sacks)
- Van Ginkle (Sacks)
- Baker (Picks)
- Holland (FF and FR)
- Chubb (11 sacks, 6 FF)
The guy’s defense has been suffocating since Ramsey came back. Until yesterday.
If the Ravens play like they played yesterday, no team is beating them, they are the 2023-24 Champs so far.
Good for the Ravens but this s*** ain't over and you never know, getting our asses kicked by the bully down the street might have just made our balls drop and we come out fighting the rest of the way.

I don’t really see this as applicable to the point - whether or not he’s willing to trust a rookie corner.
We shouldn’t have drafted him if this was the plan. 2nd round picks need to contribute.

We don’t know. We can only assume from the outside that the coaches should be trusted. I think it’s an abysmally poor use of assets. A 2nd round pick should have been given snaps in blowouts. He shouldn’t be practicing with the scout team.
Yeah I agree he should be on the field in blowout wins and losses. That’s how Sam Madison cut his teeth - I remember his first career INT came in garbage time. Perhaps something is up w the kid that we don’t know about?

At some point the injuries are just too numerous to overcome. Our roster is basically a preseason game roster at this point.
