Huddle Report Champ First Mock

As stated many times before, not a scheme fit. Definitely more of a press corner. And since we now have a GM who actually drafts for our schemes, I doubt this will be the pick.
 
I would absolutely hate this pick. Like throw up in front of everyone at Bokampers.
 
I think he's more of a man cover guy, but definitely very talented with nice size at around 6-1. He may not be a scheme fit. I'm not sure there's a corner that is worthy of top 15 in this draft. Perhaps Quinten Rollins if he tests off the charts at the combine. Tremendous athlete who plays the ball so well.
 
That draft seems to have an awful lot of names going way earlier than they should.
 
had a feeling I would hear a lot of negative stuff on Waynes being stated as our #14 pick.... I'm also not so fond of it.

lets say we did go CB though... Waynes, Rollins, Williams, or other CB.... who would you want and why?
 
The Phins have needs at almost every position...other than drafting a QB in round one.

Your guess is as good as the experts.
 
with all of the other guys that I would like gone I guess it would make sense by a need stand point, but not scheme

As much as I don't like the lack of physicality sometimes I think Ifo Ekpre-Olomu is probably the best fit. He can play in the slot or on the boundary, quick reaction speed to break on the ball when it's in the air, very good COD...his one major flaw is his size.

Kevin Johnson and Lorenzo Doss are two other guys I'm interested in...but none at 14.
 
Marcus Peters is the best corner in this draft…but he has some baggage. Ifo when healthy is right up there with him.
