Hyde5: National view of Dolphins? Bad, bad news

I think with Hard Knocks and Preseason the media's perception of the Dolphins has a chance to change.

Especially after some preseason games and after a few real games.

As long as the owner stays out of the public's eye that is. Most of the extreme, nasty negativity has been directly caused by the owner.

If he starts showing up to get on camera during Hard Knocks then we are doomed to be AFC East bottom dwellers until there is a change in ownership.

IIRC, last year the national guys were a lot more pessimistic than the local guys, and were proven right.:tubes: The local guys all seemed to underplay the effect of the castration of Tony by Ross and Ireland.

I suspect their problem this year is not seeing much improvement from a 6-10 roster.

Philbin needs to be given at LEAST 4 years down here to do something. We can't keep firing and hiring coaches forever.
