Hyde's Ten Not-So-Simple Ways to Solve the Miami Dolphins this offseason

Yeah, the lack of picks is a problem now. I think they can deal with the cap issues. Us losing a 1st/3rd due to the tampering was a really big blow that we are now dealing with the fallout of. It kind of undercut Grier's plan. Using 2 1sts on Waddle was a bit of a luxury, knowing we still had lots of extra picks.
In 2021, Miami traded SF their 3 for 12, a 1st and 3rd in 2022 and 1st in 2023. They now have 3 first round picks over 2021-2023. One in 2021 (12), one in 2022, one in 2023.

THEN

Miami traded 12, 123 and the SF 1st in 2022 for 6 and 156. They now have 2 first rounds picks over 2021-2023. One in 2021 (6) and one in 2023.

Its a net GAIN of a 2023 1st and 2022 3rd.

For those that like to play golf using handicaps, I can understand why you like to use the NET gain thought process. 😂 I on the other hand prefer playing people straight up, so I look at the GROSS gain or loss and in the end, the Dolphins lost a 1st round draft pick in the Waddle selection.

I guess Chubb just magically showed up in Miami with a uniform then. Ok.
