I Can Now Say The Dolphins Do Not Have A QB.

Luck has been pretty mediocre the last few weeks but he has made enough plays to get his team to the 3rd seed and a 2nd straight playoff appearance. Ryan is still under .500 for his career and 0 playoff appearances. He's had better defenses than Andrew too.

The AFC South is easily the worst division in football this season. Houston is so bad right now they are currently the favorite for the #1 overall pick. Jacksonville is straight trash. Tennessee is not a good football team with Ryan Fitzpatrick at QB. What Luck did last season was extremely impressive, but he hasn't progressed in 2013 against the worst competition in football and that says something, too.

For what it's worth, I think Pep Hamilton is not doing him any favors and like Ryan Tannehill, there are personnel issues on that offense that make it difficult for him to succeed in spots.

But if you are holding Ryan Tannehill and Andrew Luck to the same standard, hold them to that standard. Do not simply look at the team's record and put it all on the QB. Miami's record is not simply a reflection of the QB, nor is Indy's.

He Simply cannot throw the long ball .... underthrows or over throws all the time

Tannehill

More 40+ yard passes than: Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Ryan, Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, Carson Palmer, Andrew Luck, Tony Romo, Philip Rivers, Cam Newton, Alex Smith, RGIII

More 20+ yard passes than: Tom Brady, Carson Palmer, Nick Foles, Andrew Luck, Aaron Rodgers, Cam Newton, RGIII

Are you kidding me? Have you not seen Russell consistently hit his receivers in stride for big gains? Receivers have to adjust and come back every time for Ryan's throws because they're rarely on the money or in a spot to allow YAC

Last season, Reggie Wayne's total TDs, ypg and total receiving yards was almost exactly the difference between Tannehill and Luck. And I didn't see Luck turn a #2 or #3WR into a 1000 producer either. This season, since Wayne's been down, Luck's performance has been as spotty or schizoid if not more so than Tannehill's and he's beaten 3 losing teams while losing to 2 winning ones. They've been pretty comparable, both better than the real RG3 who without his mobility is pedestrian and Weeden, neither as good as Wilson or Foles, although not all the film is out on Foles first tour yet. And that's about the size of it.

This Go/No-Go has been blown ridiculously out of proportion. The players will tell you most of the time that are not hearing it because they are focused on the movement of the ball. If you're paying attention you can see that at times Pouncey gives up the snap prematurely not the snap count.

Dan had Tannehill in his top 5 quarterbacks for last week.

Dan Marino ‏@DanMarino 1h
#Top5QBs for Wk13. P.Manning, Wilson, Foles, Tannehill & Brady. Who are your 5 from this past week? #QBwatch @NFLonCBS

Tannehill had a nice second half but if you don't see the difference in the two halves I don't know what to say.

Against your most bitter rival....who has a top defense....in their house.....playing with a team that has been having O-line problems all year? Tannehill had a good game.

Does he need to play better? Of course, but check out how many top QB in the NFL play an entire 60 min well, when playing their biggest rival, on their turf, with a line you don't know what to expect.

Tannehill against a top defense, did better then most of the QBs in the NFL this week....including Luck, Brees, Roethlisberger, Newton, Ryan, Romo, Flacco, Smith, Kaepernick, (Eli) Manning, RGIII.

Brady's stats vs. Jets this year:

vs Jets: 19 for 39 185 yds 1 TD (Rating of 71)
at Jets: 22 for 46 228 yds 0 TD 1 INT (Rating of 53.5 and team lost)

Your move....

Wow...Phinz with a brutal uppercut.

Yes, he can't throw the long ball very well...until he gets chemistry with Wallace like he did with Hartline, then all of a sudden, he has always thrown a good deep ball.

Anyone who watched last night's game gets a glimpse at a 2nd year guy who is a franchise QB. Russell will be winning for years to come. He makes smart decisions, moves out of the pocket when he has to, and leads his team. He has the "it" factor. He makes plays, gets it done.

Tannehill doesn't do that. Any QB worth his salt would've never put up 6 points Sunday, first half. The score should've been 28-0 in the first half. The guy misses wide open deep balls like the one where Hartline had to come back. Misses open receivers, misses the ability to scramble for chunk yards, takes too many deer in headlight sacks.

He played better in the 2nd half but he's so inconsistent, and to top it off the whole "go, go go" stuff makes it tough to take him seriously. Can you imagine a Brees, Rodgers, or any franchise QB using this pop warner snap?

The Guy he beat (Brees) did not have as good a game...guess he will never be a franchise QB.

everyone who keeps talking about his first half....Brady had a worse first half against us...Brady sucks?

how the hell does this thread stay in the main forum, yet mine gets sent to the depths.

oh yeah, thats right... its the butt-hurt mod, that's why

lol I asked the same thing about a thread I made where I made a sarcastic op mocking all the irrational Tanny haters yet the irrational Tanny sucks threads clog up the main forum. if my thread was serious about tannehill sucking for throwing an incompletion it would prob still be on the main forum but since I was kidding it gets sent to the depths

seeing as how this thread was rendered moot by tannehill's second half performance, I'd say that the op has seen plenty of ridicule for his knee-jerk first half reaction.

I still haven't seen a response from Honey B. Where's the reply? I also haven't been answered on how can Tannehill have a better completion % than Cam Newton, Andy Dalton, Robert Griffin III, Tom Brady, Joe Flacco, Alex Smith and Matthew Stafford if he's as inaccurate as Bill Cowher claims he is?

Well, please try not to hold your breath on that.
