You guys criticize him about the orange carpet, but if we had a winning team and the Parcells regime had worked that would have made him a visionaire. Here are some points:
1. He inherited this regime. He INHERITED Parcells, Ireland and Sparano.
2. Tried to go after a HC last off-season. It didn't work out, the guy didn't want to leave the Bay area than had to patch things up.
3. Putted a stop on Ireland on the Orton business. How many franchise QBs are traded?
4. Didn't overspend on anybody. Let the new regime find it's QB and where to commit the money.
The only thing that concerns me is that I hope he learned from his and this franchise's mistakes. I hope he doesn't bring a Gruden or Cowher with Godlike powers, We need a new HC and a new GM and although those guys must have a similar mind set, we need checks and balances, as they say HCs are worried about next Sunday, GMs are worried about next 1-5 years.
