Head to head means nothing when it comes to your spot in the draft. It's all about strength of schedule

Based on recent history, 2-14 might land Luck, but with the Fins' bad "luck", it would be safer to go 1-15 to land him.
 
Though Luck is the ultimate prize, the higher the draft pick, the better off we'll be next year now that the rookie salary cap makes these guys so much more affordable so keep losing.

watch us go 0-16, an expansion team comes out of nowhere and is put into the nfl, and they get the first pick and draft luck.

you know with our luck, whether we have the first pick or not, something real bad will happen to make sure we dont get luck.
 
it's probably no harder than people wrapping thier heads around the potential for this team to be 0-4 at the bye week before the season like some of us thought could very much happen...

Luck is a senior sholastically, he is a junior only for football. He is graduating. I don't think anyone has ever stayed to go to grad school...
 
What if we do have the 1st pick in the draft and A Luck (being smart) tells us that he is not going to play here and tells us he can stay in school or we can trade him to....the Colts.

For a QB, which team do you want to go to?

Be the next P Manning or the next John Beck?

Go to a stable team with a good FO and coaching staff or go to the team with the all new coaching staff and the loony owner?

If he declares for the draft and we have the 1st pick you draft him. If he demands a trade tell him to have fun playing in Canada for the next 10 to 15 years.
 
man, have you watch this team play? they suck. The dolphins are one of the 4 worst teams in the nfl right now.

After looking at the schedule of each team we can´t afford to win 2 games.Seattle probably won´t win 3 games,i don´t see the Rams or the Broncos win more than 2 games.It will be a close race 4 Luck.Even the no. 2 Pick won´t land him.We need to pick first!

The first tiebreaker is SOS. The team with the lower SOS picks first and so on. If the SOS is the same, than it goes to Division and conference tiebreakers for teams in the same conference. This is where head to head would matter with teams like the Chiefs. If they are still tied after that tiebreaker or play in different conferences, than there is a coin toss.

Strange fact here. Just an observation.........

In a span of 15 days, you do realize that you have talked about both making the playoffs and the procedure for tiebreaks in regards to selecting first overall in the draft. Just found that odd and interesting.
 
The fact that our team is such a mess right now that we are worried the #1 pick will refuse to play for us is pretty damning.
