I am not saying you were the '85 Bears but you certainly had a D good enough to make the playoffs with. There are obviously still issues on D but overall they were good.

20 points doesn't get it done in the NFL anymore!!! The offense only scored over 27 one freaking time!!

All I know is many times in past seasons when the dolphins offense couldn't get over 20 pts many times.so....

The Pitt game was the first time they scored 30 all year. The D won most of your games sometimes scoring when they needed to. The O and specifically QB play is why you aren't playing this weekend.

Yeah I know the offense especially in the last two games have underachieved and blew it. And I like how the defense has been with pts allowed, but it always irritates me when a defense's pass rush is non existent and gets gashed. And that pittsburgh game miami scored all those pts, the defense got shredded esp in by the ground game. I really feel miami could've forced geno into a turnover, though geno has done better the last two games , if miami actually sacked him or got in his face a few times. Instead he had a lot of time most of the game. Anyway, the runnning game would have helped this team so much more. The ground game has been bad most of the season, blocking and rbs. Balance is so important, add in predictable play calling made it easy for defenses to just tee off on a offensive that isn't that good. The new orleans game, I think the whol rush yards was a few yards thats it. And the Bucceneers game, 2 yards.. 2 yards? thats terrible. But there were some parts where the offense did come in big though I wished they moved the ball better and scored more pts. The Browns win, the offense didn't score a lot but they sealed the win when tannehill drove them down the last 5 minutes to score a Td to be up 23-10 to put the game away. Colts game, he scored and went toe to toe with Luck and scored in the redzone, though the defense held him att the end. The Bengals game didn't show much offense, but when bengals were up 20-17, tannehill drove fins in last minute to get fins to kick tying fg to take it to ot. And allowed the chance for the D to get that safety for the win. The patriots wins, they scored in crucial situations and last minute to get ahead that they needed to do. The defense made the final stop, but it wouldn;'t have matter if fins didn't move the ball and score a TD. If fins just get a fg, as you saw, the pats would've won by a fg seeing how deep into miami territory they got. But since fins got the td, the pats had to score a td.
