A Miami-Dade Police spokesperson told Gossip Extra that yesterday's game saw 66 incidents that required police intervention, and included 45 ejections and eight arrests. "That's more than usual for a Dolphins game," the spokesperson said.

That's what we should do to Joe.

I've never seen that at a Fins game, I'm surprised. I used to see that stuff all the time at the Vet in Philly, but never in Miami.

Hey, J. David. Not for nothing but I don't think Crazylegs ever played for the Packers. I think he was mostly a Ram. I know it's in the video, I'm just saying.

Anyway, I wonder how many incidents there usually are after a Dolphins game. I remember going to a Jets game there once (we lost) and being more than ready to punch somebody as I walked out. Had my hand in a fist in everything. :bobdole: I was pretty hammered.

Someone should run an analysis to see if there has been a rise in criminal violence in South Florida during football season since 2000 to coincide with the decline of the Dolphins...

Is that a chick in the Green Bay hat or Dennis Rodman?

I don't think GBPack10 is around enough to notice.

As for the number of incidents, I couldn't tell you, as I haven't been to a game in several years now, but it's not unheard of. I do know someone who got beat up real bad at a Dolphins game, by fellow Dolphins fans. They were drunk, obviously. He was a surgeon, and they crushed and stomped his hands so badly with their boots that he had to retire.

That's ****ing terrible.

It is, and even though I'm sure the guy was mouthing off to them (he was always a nasty, stuck-up S.O.B.), he certainly didn't deserve to get thrashed into surgery and have his hands crippled badly enough to end his career.

We'd like to believe that our fans are better than this, but sadly they aren't. If anything, I feel terribly that it was Packers fans who were getting beat up, since I've never heard anything but praise for how respectful they are of opposing fans at Lambeau.

Nothing pisses me off more then trash bags at sporting events! Cheer your team and be respectful! How hard is it?
