I guess there were a lot of angry Dolphins fans yesterday at the stadium

It is, and even though I'm sure the guy was mouthing off to them (he was always a nasty, stuck-up S.O.B.), he certainly didn't deserve to get thrashed into surgery and have his hands crippled badly enough to end his career.

We'd like to believe that our fans are better than this, but sadly they aren't. If anything, I feel terribly that it was Packers fans who were getting beat up, since I've never heard anything but praise for how respectful they are of opposing fans at Lambeau.

You can pretty much always count on a surgeon being a jackass.

I went to a game at Lambeau once and didn't see any fights or even any rudeness. I wasn't there as an enemy fan, though. And it was a game against Houston so it wasn't a particularly hyped atmosphere. The extreme ****ing cold might have had something to do with it, too. It was one of the cold, wet days that are colder for being wet and wetter for being cold somehow. I kept thinking I was going to lose all feeling in my feet and not be able to stand anymore. Hard to start a bunch of **** when you're just fighting to survive.

Just plain fed up. Message to rival fans , try to invade our stadium at your own risk. Lol

Definitely not all of them. Plenty of doctors are jerks, but I'd say it's closer to 50/50. And the other 50% are some genuinely great people. Most of the ones I know are plastic surgeons, and despite the reputation that group has in particular, a lot of them are absolute gentlemen.

I tell you what, though, you couldn't pay me enough money to go to a Raiders or 49ers game in opposing team colors. Think I'd rather go to an Eagles game sporting Cowboys gear before I did that. I'll take being pelted with beer over being knifed in the parking lot

You ain't kidding Wanny I have hit a bunch of road games in my time and there are certain stadiums I won't do again or have no interest in!

I've never seen that at a Fins game, I'm surprised. I used to see that stuff all the time at the Vet in Philly, but never in Miami.

It happens certainly more often than not. I usually tailgate before and after the game and of course the violent matters are usually afterwards, win or lose (but mostly after a loss), due to increased levels of intoxication.

We're not defending gang territory here. Dumbass state of mind.

I've enjoyed through out the years running into level headed rival fans and talking to them about their team and their opinion of ours.

The world is full of idiots.....the key to life is to not let one of them coach your favorite team.

I've been to a dozen or so games in Miami and have seen fights at all of them. People go to drink beer in excess and when you mix passion for sports you get ****ty stories like in the OP's post.

You have had better experiences than me. More often than not when I talk to a surgeon it ends up feeling like this

That was a pretty frustrating loss. Worse then a blowout because there's no reason we shouldn't have won

Well said. When I was a kid, it was always great to go to a ballgame with my dad, and he always warned me not to mouth off to any drunks. I certainly understand why he did; it was good advice.

I realize that when you have people drinking to excess, you're going to have a handful of numbskulls, but it certainly shouldn't be celebrated. And those people should be barred from attending future games.

Went to check out the competition yesterday. Bills crowd was intense but very respectful of NE fans. I don't like Buffalo either due to Miami Buffalo rivalry over the years, but I give them respect. On another note, it was interesting to "not see the Miami game" for one week. Watching only the score board, I was surprised the Miami game was so close against a Green Bay team that has been hot. What stood out was time of possession. GB seemed to always have the ball. I wondered what was going on. I was sort of happy about the game until I saw highlights. (I didn't expect Miami to win this one) Miami has become famous for game ending collapses IMO.
