Players really need to open there eyes and stop holding out. There is no need to demand 19 million dollars when 18 million can still be plenty. It annoys me when there are people in this world who cannot eat, or don't have a place to live, and we have athletes who demand 40 million instead of 39.

Sorry, its just my thought for the day

What the heck are you trying to say here? Seriously I can't understand you.

No doubt Ronnie's holdout is hurting the team and himself. Money Money Money Money Money

Everyday there is a thread about this. I think we should all try and let it go. He shows up when he shows up, I just want him to be happy when he shows up. I don't need a disgruntled TO type who walks out.

Hopefully it will all be resolved soon so we can really focus on the battle between Sage and Brock. "Brock Berlin for third string!!"

I'm right beside you. It's ridiculous. I could care less about "market value." What's $1 or $2 mill when you're talking $18 or $20 million. It makes me lose respect all the way around - Dolphin or not. And people will say, "It isn't the player, it's their agent." BS!! The agent works FOR THE ATHLETE. Not the other way around.

i guess you factor 35% to govt... then another 2-3% to agent...
insurance for 10 cars...... i guess he figures he doesnt have enough pocket money... lol

those people that dont have anything to eat or a place to live didnt train hard basically their whole life to play football. their not in the gym 4 hours a day and away from their family alot. millions of people are entertained by football players, they are getting paid less that what their worth. Owners are making billions off them, why shouldnt they get millions?

why risk the chance of getting 19 million instead of 21 when the next day you could blow out your knee and the team cut you and thats 2 million out of your pocket. im tired of people complaining about athletes making to much money. their more in demand, and make more money for the owners than anyone else, they should be paid what their getting paid.

would you want 2 million dollars or 0 million?

You have to consider that even though these guys are going to be getting close to 20 million, 2 million dollars is still alot of money any way you look at it.

Weak argument. Comparing $2 million/ $0 to $20 mill to $18 mill is in a whole different spectrum. A huge difference.

i dont fault the player. he should get every dollar he can. its up to the league to set some limit.

anyway, some kid starving in somalia has nothing to do with a player wanted more money. this reminds me when my mother told to eat all my food cause kids are starving all over the world.

its nice to be appreciative, but the kid's level of starvation or poverty is not affected by an athletes salary or my calorie consumption
