those people that dont have anything to eat or a place to live didnt train hard basically their whole life to play football. their not in the gym 4 hours a day and away from their family alot. millions of people are entertained by football players, they are getting paid less that what their worth. Owners are making billions off them, why shouldnt they get millions?
why risk the chance of getting 19 million instead of 21 when the next day you could blow out your knee and the team cut you and thats 2 million out of your pocket. im tired of people complaining about athletes making to much money. their more in demand, and make more money for the owners than anyone else, they should be paid what their getting paid.
Yeah they train hard every day and put all that effort into it.
Let's look around the globe shall we.
Police officer and firefighters are on call 24/7, they work every day get paid middle class income. They save peoples lives almost every day.
They go into work and end up getting shot in the leg rescuing someone, or in Football terms "BLOWS OUT A KNEE" his career is ended.
They get hugely rewarded with a $2-3000 pension and unable to work pay for the rest of their lives.
Don't give me this crap about how they aren;t making too much money. It is down right absurd and ridiclous to even fathom the thought that these players deserve even a tenth of what they THEY ARE MAKING.
"Oh no, I have to work out and get my body into shape. Oh no I have to spend time practicing a game I love and worshipped as a kid. Oh no, I might have to get a huge NIKE endorsement or appear on a sitcom. This definitely deserves atleast 22 million. What you are only offering 19 million for me to professionally play a sport that I played for free and pure love of it when in High School, college and a little kid? Are you serious? Only 19 million? That is a complete slap in the face!!!
