I truly think that Jeff Fisher is going to be the next Head Coach of The Indianapolis Colts. It just seems so odd that he is sooooo torn between the rams and fins while the Colts just announced that a decision regarding the future of Coach Cauldwell will be coming soon. Every bit of me feels like Fisher is waiting for Cauldwell to get canned so that he can join the Colts.

I just hope that the Colts end up hiring someone else just so Fisher can feel and look like a fool...

I think you are right...

2 years in a row now of Ross and the Miami Dolphins being played like chumps.

As time passes by and the report just coming out that the colts are mulling what to do with Cauldwell it just makes too much sense that Fisher is waiting in the wings..

I would like to hire Zimmer now and make Fisher look like a fool.

More likely he is trying to position himself with the Raiders. Pretty good team, good QB and on the West Coast.

Good point.. Oakland is a quick hour plane ride to his home in San Diego... This really doesnt look good for us or the Rams. He is playing us both...

Colts hired a GM today. If they're going to axe Caldwell, the announcement will come this evening or tomorrow. I'm sure Fisher will give us an announcement as soon as it's clear what the Colts are doing.

Fisher needs to talk to someone and just say look, I'm going to take another 2 weeks, get a couple more interviews then make a decision. But to keep this going this long, is just ridiculous. I mean really now.

To me, if he was sold on the Dolphins or Rams, he would have already agreed to be the head coach for one of them by now. He isn't sold on either job.

he is weighing his options. Its pretty important to choose the right franchise, owner group of players. I bet Mularkey in retrospect wish he had waited on taking the bills job

Look for a breaking news update that has Fisher going to interview with the Colts very soon followed by another breaking news that Fisher has "agreed to terms" to be the next Head Coach of the Indianapolis Colts..

Then that's fine with me, but stop keeping our franchise hostage. Zimmer would say yes to Ross in a heartbeat.
