I hate to say it but...

I just heard he is waiting for Kroenke to up his offer. So far, Kroenke hasn't been willing to do so

Wow, talk about a lot of unfounded speculation.

He said he would decide something this week, between the Phins and Rams, and i'm sure he will. Take it easy, relax, everything will be all right.

nah, tomorrow Fisher will announce he is the Dolphins new head coach.
I couldnt give a flying crap tho and wouldnt be mad if we hired someone now before his decision.
He thinks he is the only coach out there or a coaching God, its ridiculous!

This is from a couple of days ago, but it could explain why Fisher has been waiting. He was waiting for a GM to be hired, and now they hired one. I really think Fisher will go there if Caldwell gets fired...

Kravitz was on PFT Live on Tuesday and said this:

I can promise you that [the Colts] have already reached out to Jeff Fisher. I think they have a pretty good idea already where they're at. They're looking, in theory, for a general manager, but that doesn't mean they're not looking for a coach.

whatever. if he chooses to interview with the rams or even takes a day longer i think its time we move on, there are plenty of good candidates out there, we need to get going for our offseason and our direction now, like in any business deal - u eventually need to give an ultimatum. this is just silly now, i know we are interviewing ppl, but they are not gettin serious consideration until fisher does whatever he does. its time to seriously consider these guys.

Why do you hate to say it? There's plenty of good coaches out there. A lot of people don't even want Fisher here.

yes imo there is a lot of good coaches ,well alot that people call coaches ,then theres the right coach for the job here in Miami..

I'd like a coach that wants to be here, if that's possible, over one mulling so many options and it coming down to "oh I guess I'll go to Miami cause Ross will pay me more, and no other job I wanted came up."

I'd say it's possible he's already had his people get word to Irsay that if they pull the trigger fast on Caldwell, they can count him in.

However, you can still ask yourself the same question that applies to to the fins:
why would they be eager to entrust either Andrew Luck's future or Peyton's declining productive years to a coach with only 6 winning seasons out of 16 plus years including five 8-8 records who believes in a run first offense and would likely be a sloppy thirds had Cowher and Gruden been available?
