I have to admit daniel thomas has been running hard lately

He's running harder, but it most of the positive were on the line opening holes (for once)...RB's in the end are a dime a dozen since a majority are only going to be successful with a good O-line....the Dolphins don't have one and as a result will continue to see below average to average play from the RBs

As dolphin fans we rip on daniel thomas alot but we have to admit he has been running hard last few weeks especially last night. I give the kid credit.

Last couple of weeks includes his 4 rushes for negative 2 yards versus Tampa

Kid is running real hard now. I feel like the line blocked real well for him last week tho. Miller has balled when he is not hit five yards in the backfield as well.

Well you just lost all credibility. That just shows a biased hater mentality towards him that no matter what he does...This comment will be your go to line to disprove whatever he does. The guy got drilled the second he was handed the ball and you pin that on HIM??? Wow!
We can be such a ridiculous fan base. Someone does something well and people still try to drag him down and not acknowledge someone did something good. Op stated he played a couple good games, which he HAS. He didn't say he was the second coming of AP or that he hasn't struggled.
Haters just suck something serious. Absurd!!!

That has got to be the DUMBEST response to anything ever posted on here. Thomas is coming off the ****tiest game in his career and possibly the worst rushing game in team history and you follow up with a post to praise his last couple of games and question my credibility. JI you have been unmasked. I know you were on here. Take off the aqua and orange glasses and watch football.

Well actually all I did was explain what the op was trying to say....but ok. But yes I did question your scouting credibility due to your blind hatred for a running back that has received zero blocking and is consistently being drilled in the back field. Are you seriously disputing that has been the state of our OLine?
I do not believe he is a top 5 RB or anything...I just do not think he is nearly as bad as you and others are labeling him.

Minus the offensive line problem Thomas exhibits a lot technical flaws that you would not see in NFL caliber Rb. Did he have a good game Sunday? Yes, but I do not believe he is the answer.

It's funny that pretty much everyone in this thread but you can come to an agreement on things like the safety, but apparently it's the everyone else that is dumb.

He played very well Sunday, but I'll be more impressed when he does it more than approximately 2 games per season. Let's not act like Sunday's game was the norm.

When he learns to lean forward and run behind his pads I will give him some credit. What we are seeing now is the line opening holes. I have never seen a back fall backwards so much. If he can emulate half of what Clay did on his TD romp I will buy his jersey.

So you give him NO credit for all the tackles he broke. Did you even watch the game? Is it so hard for some of you to put away your biases and at least give the guy some praise when he earns it?

So many people here are so use to mediocrity that when Thomas runs for 57 yards it's the second coming of
(insert hall of fame running backs name here)Thomas has been a backup RB for 3 years.

This team will never go anywhere with a running attack led by Thomas

Try to set your sights just a bit higher than Daniel Thomas

No one has claimed him a legitimate starter, let alone a HOFer. He just played 'better'.

The thread title even uses the expression "have to admit" conveying the norm is he usually sucks.

There's nothing wrong with some positive feedback when rightfully earned.

Read post 36 that should answer your questions.

Don't you just hate it when people don't read the entire thread....

How can someone coming off his and the teams worst rushing performance been doing anything well lately as stated in the original post.

Well he did only have four touches that had him running laterally behind the LOS by design on most of them against arguably the fastest LB core in the NFL behind arguably the worst line.

I'm sure he wasn't happy when he walked out the field either.

I mean I've been just as disgusted by most of his games myself but because of that very same reason I think this even if brief improvement is worth noting.

Nothing else, he still has a long way to prove he was worth the second round pick spent on him or anywhere in the top four rounds.

There's only so much a guy is gonna improve past the "bitch" level, especially in his 3rd year.

Daniel Thomas still goes down easier than Perez Hilton at a dick buffet.
