I have to admit daniel thomas has been running hard lately

Minus the offensive line problem Thomas exhibits a lot technical flaws that you would not see in NFL caliber Rb. Did he have a good game Sunday? Yes, but I do not believe he is the answer.

DT might not be the answer but he isn't the problem either. I love how you can so easily just MINUS the offensive line out of the equation. The OL is the main problem that needs to be fixed. Go get your flawless NFL caliber RB and put him on this team. You will see just how incapable he is of showcasing his skill with no run blocking. In no way am I defending Thomas's skill set. Plenty of areas for improvement. I'm just saying give this team any of the current top 5 RB's and bet anything their not top 5 anymore.

No one has claimed him a legitimate starter, let alone a HOFer. He just played 'better'.

The thread title even uses the expression "have to admit" conveying the norm is he usually sucks.

There's nothing wrong with some positive feedback when rightfully earned.
There's no room for context on a messageboard, my friend.

There's only so much a guy is gonna improve past the "bitch" level, especially in his 3rd year.

Daniel Thomas still goes down easier than Perez Hilton at a dick buffet.

:lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

Good ol' fashioned Vermin and his no holds barred approach. :chuckle:

he's been running hard all season...definitely his best looking from a runner season he's had...just cause the results aren't there doesn't mean the guys not running thru contact etc...our run blocking has been very poor most of the year

Did you read the post that was in response to. If not let me know and I will quote it for you.

I love it when people half read and redirect posts to suit their needs.

Read post 36 that should answer your questions.

Don't you just hate it when people don't read the entire thread....

No. I made a direct response to the post in question (your post). I don't count posts either.

Interesting that in his 1st year he had 165 carries, but his combined 2nd year and 3rd year up to this point he has exactly 165 carries.

In his 1st year he averaged 3.5, 2nd and 3rd are 3.65 just a slight improvement. But the big difference is the TD's, 0 in his 1st 165, but 7 in second 165. He has reduced his fumbles.

So in all major areas I see improvement despite a poor offensive line. Not setting the world on fire but is definitely NOT part of the problem.

In fact he is one of of main scorers this year with 4 TD's in 10 games.

He is under contract for cheap for another year so haters might as well give it up. He will be here another year unless this whole thing gets blown up. His stats show he is one of the better power backs in the league with one of the top td in goal to go attempts percentage.

I hope to see him really step it up down the stretch.

If you can not admit you stole the response to a direct question (post 36) I dont have the time time explain how a message board works.
