To the contrary...
I thankfully saw shots taken downfield-much more than normal.
The thing that I left that game with from an offensive perspective was that we did "leave to many plays on the field".
Instead of having 3 or 4 options downfield, the dolphins commited to protecting the QB and sent the wide receivers on various posts and "fly" routes. In my view, the offense was challenged to throw the ball and they finally accepted the challenge.
Largely they failed to convert but.....
For me, it was encouraging (as I have already stated).
