I hope the Dolphins are watching this "Jet Sweep" play for Mike Wallace

Dom Capers is washed up. Packers defenders were playing street ball. Completely undisciplined and out of control.

You typically have a WR run the Sweep (with the Jet motion) and then follow with a fake to the RB....this allows multiple plays to be built off it (Fake Jet/inside zone, Fake Jet/PA pass...) I think you could use a combo of Landy and Wallace in this role if needed, but you need a guy who (as Hoops said) who runs more like a RB.

yeah if you run it with a true rb the defense is just gonna shift over when he motions across the formation...the fact that harvin runs wr routes and lines up as a wr with a true rb in the backfield gets the d to pursue the rb on the fake to the other side and provided you get one pretty easy block on the play side outside in space a soft lane inside for the sweep player harvin to cut up into and into the 2nd level...but you also need that guy to be ok running to contact and harvin is that...plus the lbs are reading all the hard motion to the other side...and with our lbs they would take the bait all the way...right tackle seals down to the inside on an angle block and a easy one at that and she's a wrap

Percy Harvin had enough time and space for a road grader to pave his running lane.

This play alone is working wonders and would help get Mike Wallace more involved. With his speed, this could be something that could work for us. I am skeptical about his toughness though.

I was thinking the same exact thing!

Rodgers is going to get killed this year with their poor offensive line play and having to play against the AFCE. Kinda like Tannehill last year.

I don't know about Dom Capers, it's hard to place blame on him IMO when it's quite apparent that the Packers have NO ONE that can play respectable defense besides Clay Matthews. Sure some of that lands on Capers but only so much when his defensive talent pool is dried up and bare.

I kind of think Matthews would be a better fit. He runs hard and he's pretty tough to bring down. At 6'0" 217 lbs he's got size over Landry and he's faster.

The packers defense wasn't getting out muscled, there were losing on areas that can be taught imo. When Russell Wilson can just toss the ball to a WR that is 10 yards from the nearest defender, there is a failure of some very basic fundamentals of football that even a high school CB should know. Dom Capers didnt have his defense prepared, and couldnt make any adjustments at halftime. Seattle just kept running the same plays all game and he couldnt come up with anything to stop it.
