I disagree, entirely. I just don't see it. If it is indeed the case that the Jets are a better team than the Dolphins, it certainly does not translate to the field.

we lost our playoff bid the week before, even had we beat you we wouldn't ahve made it. We sucked to end 2011 but our worst season in the last 3 years was still better than your best season so things could always be worse, right?

yeah, the jets were in perfect posiiton for the post season and then they lost 3 straight while their mighty D gave up and average of 31 points a game with the playoffs on the line.

The losses are more painful when you have hope but at least you have something to look forward to. I have seen many Jets seasons over by October and those are the worst so as bad as the last 3 games were I'd rather go through that than the '07 Jets that were done almost from the start.

yes, would have to agree with you there. In 2008 I knew we weren't going very far in the post season, but the fact that we took the Patriots spot and we were playing made it worth while.
Until about half time of the Ravens game and then it was over.

No hope is worse. Our season was miserable from the jump. An embarrassing primetime blowout to NE, followed by our usual Houston loss and the laughable Browns loss to end our season. All I had to look forward to at that point was 0-16 and Andrew Luck. Pathetic.

The Bills started 5-2, and in 1st place with some good wins in there(including a last second comeback vs NE) and their fans were feeling really good about their teams' chances for a good half season.

I happen to really like him, I think he's good on the radio, he's good on the local Jets shows. I hate homers in the media, if I wanted a fans view I would just read posts at my jets forum but I don't feel Schein is pro Jet at all.

Well, that's enough proof for me. Schein is DEFINITELY a Jest fan/homer.

I was just on with Schein about 5 minutes ago. An older guy called in talking about the Dolphins and after the call, Schein proceeded to totally bag on the team and the organization, saying that they are clearly the worst team in the division.

I couldn't stand pat so I called in. I told him that while I do enjoy listening to the show, it's clear to me that his bias toward the Jets completely jades his opinions of the Dolphins. He made it a point to say that he hears that about him a lot and went on to clarify that he is NOT a fan of the Jets but does some radio work for them.

I said that while the Dolphins were only 6-10 last year that they swept the Bills. He said...'Kyle, can you honestly tell me that as they are presently constructed, the Dolphins are better than the Bills?' To which I replied...'I do...the Dolphins were much more of a mess last year than they are now and they swept the Bills. They are much more stable now, Ryan Fitzpatrick is extremely overrated and how is Mario Williams going to help the Bills put more points on the board?"

I continued...."The Dolphins played very well down the stretch last year and should have beaten the Giants. In fact, they outplayed the Giants for most of that game."

Before I could go on, my call got mysteriously disconnected.

I listen to sirius nfl radio at work everyday and I cannot stand that idiot! He is just a Dolphin hater when there are other teams making more dumb moves than us.

I said almlost every positions, you have the edge at LT(though we have a very good one), you have a pass rusher and we don't, you have a better K & P. Where else are you better? There are other positions we are pretty equal but where are the edges?
