I met Dan Marino today!!!!!!

My nephew's best friend worked for the Dolphins for 2 years and he taught Marino's kids how to swim. Marino gave him 2 footballs signed and his jersey!
 
I've met Cliff Branch (Old Raiders player), he was best man at my father's wedding and a pretty cool guy in general. He also let me wear one of his superbowl rings. Was a really neat experiance.
 
Played golf with Tony Nathan several years back.

We worn matching ugly stripped shirts. Mine was a gift so no comments please.
Nice guy. He was coaching Tampa Bay RB's at the time.

Here's the kicker. O J Simpson was in the foursome in front of us and I shook his hand and chatted for a few minute. A few months later the dude was on trial. Small world.
 
Did he give you the Dolphins Draft grade, just like any other expert ....

Nice, he ignored my brother when he asked him for a autograph back in the day.
 
Good stuff, really classy that he took the time to take the photo with you. Bet you had some stories share with your son about Dan too.
 
I got his autograph back in 84 at St Thomas University ( I went there for 1 year )
The whole team was always around.
 
Don Shula and Dan Marino I guess have homes up in the mountains of north Carolina and go to the same church as my parents. I have got to go with them this summer. It would be so cool to meet those guys.
