I would. Whoever ends up starting needs all the time theycan get with the first team... putting Sage in with them would be a waste of quality time.

Im sure you know that Bates made him the starter, not Wanny. And it is not unusual that the incumbent starter from last season at least gets a shot against the new regimes pick (Frerotte). It isnt like Saban made Feeley the undisputed starter before the season even started.
