At the time I was just trying to make the point that we had two great backs but lacking even a starter in other areas. I disliked Williams from the getgo for his lack of class when he left last year so him leaving one way or the other is ok with me. I was just kind of hoping for some trade value.

Has any single poster ever put something up that was so wrong ever?:baghead: Even if this is found out to be completely false, it's a quick reminder of what awaits us down the "Williams the only RB" road.

I will now make amends by begging forgiveness from each and every dolfan that responds to this thread for wasting their time and space with such a stupid idea. Of course Brown was a great pick-up. I see that now...:whip2:

On a side note, what's everyone planning to do with their #34 Jerseys if this is found out to be true as we all are fearing is.

And I started the "Draft Ronnie Brown, he is THE MAN" bandwagon.

Man, am I sitting on gold right now.

Ronnie is going to put up Pro Bowl numbers next season. :beerbang:

I understand you but I see it all the way around, we shouldnt had picked Ricky back, though he did more than I expected, it was simply dumb to even think he could stay out of trouble till March 3rd where we would had traded him. He couldnt even wait 15 more days till he wasnt our problem.

Ronnie Brown's fantasy league value just skyrocketed....

Props to you for creating a thread singling yourself out like this. That takes some courage and maturity.

But the ironic thing is that Brown ended up being the right pick for the same reason he was when we picked him -- you can't count on Ricky Williams.

Forget it. This is where a lot of people might say I told you so. Or, they will try to put it in a separate thread. That way they won't be as in your face. I won't do that and many others will not either. Hey, we should all just be glad we got Brown. The best insurance policy in the world is about to pay off! Too bad we couldn't get a trade for RW, but he did provide some nice runs again this year. I sure hope things work out for him wherever he goes in life. Too bad, really.

I am thinking of buying a Williams jersey now for a buck or two

AHEM--look at my sig and link..;-)

Ronnie was simply better than every other player at the #2 position (yes, even Cadillac). No apologies

You have a great attitude. I wish more it was more common.

I don't blame you for saying what you said. Hell it was looking like Rickey was the better back and on the up and up. Just thank god that we have someone else on the squad with the talent of Ronnie.

Damn I just bought his jeresy 2........and the one that I had previously I threw out when he retired. If he wasn't in more debt than me I would ask him to refund my money.
