Actually they aren't a real fan would be embarrassed and ashamed of what this front office has done to this franchise! This regime has had a open check book and several high draft picks. Yet because of their own thick heads and refusing to change with the times we have been reduced to the laughing stock. it isn't 2 games this **** started with the Saints game in 09! I have been preaching it since then fist pumper is clueless, he can't beat a top team. Even if by chance he beats Cleveland it doesn't change a thing! Sure a few HOMERS will puff their chests out, chug some Aquaberry Kool-Aid and slip on their teal and Orange blinders, but in reality we just slipped by another bad football team.

2 games? No this is back to back losing seasons, back to back years of collapsing at home down the stretch, this is 1 win in the last 11home games, do you realize that 3 teams have more wins in our house since December 09 then we do? This scores of failed draft picks and free agent signings! It all defines this failed regime!

like I said 2 games "GET A CLUE"

nothing you are saying has anything to do with his comment.....I agree with almost everything that you said....That still does not mean that our season is already over. You can give up on Sparano and Ireland and Henne all you want ( and no one will blame you ) but the season is not over and we could still be a threat to make the playoffs. I am not saying that we will. I'm just saying that despite everything that is wrong with this organization, we can an will win games. If you don't see that then i feel sorry for you

You tell me one thing you see that makes this team a playoff contender and I will give you a hundred that makes us last in the division! Sure we will win some games I have said all along 4-6, but this isn't a playoff team, and it most certainly isn't a elite defense!

I am not predicting playoffs, and neither was the other poster. I never said or thought our defense was elite either. I think our D will play a good bit better than what we have seen so far though. Top 15 for sure, maybe top 10. We have played two of the most explosive offenses in the league. I will never understand how people will argue for no reason. You have not argued one thing that I have actually said, only things that you are assuming
 
What difference does it make if Miami wins 2 games... 4 games.... 6 games... or 8 games?

They're all failures...


The only thing that changes is which slot in the top 10-12 picks these morons pick their next right guard unless the house gets cleaned...

You said could make the playoffs. Yeah we played good offenses and it just proves how far away this team is in year 4 of a rebuild.
 
Although it kills me for the Fins to lose any time, these past two weeks and the past few years under Sparano have been especially crushing because we keep finding new ways to screw the game up. Winning teams have a hero step up each week and perform beyond their value on "paper" and lift the team to victory, even if their normal "go-to" guys aren't having the best week. Brady, Manning, Brees & company consistently step up and carry their teams but a lot of other people on their teams step up in crunch time because they know that they can win. With the Dolphins, someone steps up each and every week - particularly at home - to tank the game and spoil whatever positive momentum might be occuring. Dan Carpenter is a great example of this in that he laid an egg on two FG attempts last week, that he makes 99% of the time. Those FG, although not as much as TD, would have changed the outlook of the game. The same could be said of our RZ offense which can not even gain 1/2 yard when we need it after having Polite being as much of a "given" for the past few years as there is in the NFL. Same goes for our tandem of CB, which boldly touted themselves as the best in the league then can not even play a whole game without leaving with cramps after playing mediocre at best. Additionally, our team consistently is outcoached and looks unprepared to play in addition to moronic decisions within the game that cost this team wins (Tony Sparano should have no authority over time-outs again!).

Ultimately, I do not think that we have a lack of talent on this team but a serious lack of coaching. Preparedness, discipline, attitude, and heart are all a function of leadership and coaching. The Dolphins have neither! We were desperate following the debacles of Wanny, Saban, and Cameron and bought a bill of goods from Parcells that has sunk this ship. I really think that if we lose to Cleveland, Ross needs to immediately fire Sparano and Ireland. Nolan can finish out the year as interim HC and then we need to get the absolute best coach and GM available, regardless of cost. I would like Cowher myself with a solid GM (although he typically likes to fill both roles) but would be fine with Gruden or even Dungy. I just want a winner and disciplinarian! I am tired of being pissed off that we got consistently outcoached.
