I think Brett's client solidified his starting job after last night. He played well. Could have 2 good bookend tackles

I guess Brett was right when he said that McIntosh would be a great OL for us. I sure am glad that this new lookin OL is working. I guess McDoulge was the weakness whenever he was starting.

mcdougle still pretty much started last night. so i don't know why ever is so quick to blame him. Carey was hardly in at all, and yet hes getting all the credit.

McDoulge makes alot of mistakes from what i have seen of him. I think that Carey should hold up alot better then what McDoulge did.

i thought i kept reading that no one saw him on the field? people even thought he was hurt?

but if your right then my apologies.

I think the OL was very good in the 1st half last night. They got good push on the run and good protection on the pass. You arn't going to have a game where there isnt pressure on the QB so no lineman is going to be perfect. I think everybody that played on the OL did a good job last night. I think they will only get better together also.

I still noticed mistakes by Mcdougle last night. Falling to the ground and so forth.

I think there were three major changes made.
1) We gameplanned not only plays but blocking schemes, wasnt it obvious?
2) they know the world is laughing at them and they had a torch lit to their backsides
3) We didnt run vanilla until later (we dont want to show Tampa everything cus we play them Oct 16).

Overall the changes were meant to light a fire I believe. Mcdougle should be looking over his shoulder in the future.

The thing to key in last night's O-line play was how well D Mac played at LT. Carey was in only for a short time, as a matter of fact, I thought he might have been hurt or something because he didnt play much. But The O-line as a whole played well. Therefore we can continue having D Mac at LT and Carey at RT. This is great because next year we can concentrate in getting a decent center and our O-line will be set.

If McDougle can hold his own, slide Hadnot over to the center spot and put Carey at right guard. That would make for a pretty decent line.
