i think we all would have signed up for 4-4 at start of season

Oh great another happy with mediocre. We were 3-0. We have not won in over a month, and more then likely lose to Cinci. 3-5 Bitz, another year of suck if we lose Thursday night. Regression and Settling that smells like the Dolphins

That's really the question, isn't it! The OP asks if we'd have signed up for 4-4. The real question should be: Would you have signed up for another year of mediocrity?

The only thing i will ever sign up for is improvement. That means at the end of the year we must have a record better than 7-9. If you want me to sign up for it would have to be a 2 game improvement to 9-7. That would instill the bare minimum of improvement to keep the current regime intact moving forward. Anything less and I would be looking for major changes

who cares honestly what we would have signed up for?

this ****ing sucks.

we started 3-0. when you start of 3-0, you need to ****ing take advantage of that. no excuses.

no one is pissed because we are not 7-0 now, no one expected that, but to be 3-4 after where we started , it sucks.

also, teams that we thought would be tough such as the ravens for example, they have not been able to generate offense to save there lives. they have looked pretty bad, and are fortunate right now to even be 3-4 ( although i do think the ravens can turn it around, but nonetheless when we played them, they were playing like crap, and still continued that crap play the weeks after) and the pats, i know they r the pats, but brady is having by far his worst season as far as i can remember, the pats r without wilfork, mayo, talib, and brady throws for 116 and we still lose? we lose to the bills coming off our bye at home with thad lewis starting. maybe thad lewis has not been as horrendous as i or many thought he would be, but nonetheless, he is not lighting anything up and we let him make big time throws vs us, and forced 1 turnover only.

i dont care what people expected to be quite honest, i guess chief fans should be happy if they were to finish 9-7 or 10-6, because i am sure that is what many of there fans expected, maybe even worse, so it should not matter that they are 8-0, that would still be a good season.

u need to adjust expectations relative to the situation, we were 3-0, had a golden opportunity to do something this year, at least win the division and possibly get a 1st round bye with big wins over the colts for tiebreaker scenario, and now we are 1 loss away from, although i do not want to say ''buried'' but close to being done in the playoff race.

its pathetic and i am tired of it year after year.

Perfectly written. You cant start 3-0 n than lose your next 4, it just cant happen n shows we are not a good team. I think the saints game hurt tannehill, he has not recovered from that button whooping, it hurt his confidence and u can see it has. The pick 6 against the bills on the 1st drive of the game set the tone for that game, they came out n punched us in the mouth, while tannehill came out and gave them free chocolate chip cookies. This team has no fire, OC is very conservative, and our QB shows no frustration after throwing pick 6's. Marino would go nuts after bad drives like that, get the team fired up n get going again. Tannehill seems content with what is going on, is the real reason this season has been an utter dissappointment, wasted a 3-0 start n according to philbin everything is A-ok!
