If Tony's going to be run out of here at the end of the season, unless a miracle happens, which would be his own fault.....how do you go into a must win game against the Browns get in the red zone 6 times and come away with only 16 points, have the lead with 3 minutes left and let Clevelands horse**** offense march down the feild on your rested Defense and score the TD they need to win the game......... If I am losing confidence that he can do the job imagine what the players are thinking.......

I am looking more and more at Rob Ryan and the job he is doing in Dallas, he uses his personal well, he is an x o guy who puts his players in postion to make plays.....and his blood line screams Defense......

He has turned that D into a very good unit in 8 weeks of practice will limited talent in the secondary....when someone on this board mentioned him as a candidate I was thinking it was a bad move because we would be doing so based on his twins success......Now I see what he brings to the table.....

He is intense and his defense is prepared, there are still mistakes being made by his unit but they are unpredicable and know how to get off the field.......His Defense last yr gave Belicheat fits while he was in Cleveland and did a great job against the Jets, with very limited talent

I think we need to keep an eye on this guy, him getting the chance to HC in the division against his Bro would put us in the driver seat to hire him

I dont want the safe pick of Cowher or Gruden......very rarely does a coach have success after leaving one team to join another especially after leaving the league for 4-5 yrs......they cost to much, want to much power.....time to find the next super star in the coaching ranks.....

Right now I am liking what I see in Rob......

I like Rob too..He fields a good defense. He is has a fire when his team wins, not when they kick field goals. He know's football plain and simple..We would be lucky to have him.

Still early in the season, but if it keeps going well in Dallas you have to think Ryan is gonna be a "hot" name out there.

No dear god no! The guy is as stupid as he is greasy and fat! This guy can't keep his emotions in check and would make fist pumper look like a genius! Rex got all the good genes both of them!

I hope you're not comparing Don Shula with Cowher or Gruden...........

Did you read what I quoted. Don't try and twist it. Shula was extremely successful with the Dolphins after being successful with the Baltimore Colts.

Good.....that's why I said rarely.....probably 3-4 guys in the history of the league and Don is clearly one of those.......

You kow i think if we did hire Rob Ryan we would get two Primetime games witht he jets and dolphins so it would be a plus lol

Not to mention on the media hype going into the game.......it would be Rex vs Ryan on all the networks leading up to the game........lol

Well wouldn't that just be Fan****ingTastic?!?!?!

I am sure our Circus Clown of a owner would just love a freak show like that to sell tickets! Would probably bill it as the Battle Of The Bulge! I could just see the programs and press posters now, the Ryan twins in a Sumo Diaper. Mean while the camera keeps cutting away to show Buddy Ryan corpse in the owners box, guy makes Al Davis look like the freaking fountain of youth!
