Ever play a game of football with some friends?

The really fast kid is always the superstar!

Can't stop him on kick returns.

End arounds.

Receptions.

That's Reggie Bush. He's exceptional, no doubt, but we'll see how exceptional he is when he meets Bob Sanders, Brian Urlacher, Shawn Merriman, Roy Williams, Sean Taylor.

Ever see that Ronnie Brown highlight video made by Fish Fan 4 Life?

Ronnie Brown is disgusting.

His runs are NC-17.

When he's featured, he's going to be a durable 1500 yard, 5.0 ypc back for his career.

AT LEAST!

Smith, Merriman, Williams, Leinart, Young, Bush...they're all great and will have great careers in the league (Smith may have to finish his Economics Masters in a few years, maybe).

Ronnie Brown is going to be the workhorse...the focus of a winning team for years to come.

He's going to finish his career as the elite player for his time period, regardless of position, and it is most evident in ONE play of his highlight video.

The Play:

@ 5:13 in the higlight video, against the Browns, on 3rd and 1.

I don't care who the defense is, that play says it all.

Cadillac can make some moves and take it all the way.

Sounds a lot like Bush.

Compare what you just saw in this 3rd and 1 clip against the browns to someone in the league.

Go ahead!

Well you would be alone as far as NFL Gms because he would go about 4th at best in this years draft and definately not # 1 . It was a weak draft at the top last year. But I guess the post is accurate because you are saying you would pick him first. NIck would not take him first I guarantee.

I'm glad we have Ronnie but Nick would 'nt be taking him 1st, no chance. Too bad Ronnie could'nt have put us on the board against the Brownies. He still has a long way to go...

You think he would take Reggie Bush over Ronnie Brown? I dont think so..

Saban wants a team that other teams "hate to play".. Reggie Bush doesnt give you the TOUGH inside running game that this philosophy entails. Kiper and others are stating the Reggie Bush will be an excellent outside back, receiver, return ace, but his frame does not allow him to do the things that Ronnie Brown does. Bush is multi-faceted, but he lacks a key trait that Saban desires. IMO, Saban would still take Brown over Bush.. Now if you are arguing he would take a QB over Brown in this years draft, you may have a better argument.

I think that we would have taken a QB but I agree as far as running backs go I would rather have Brown. I think the Bush is going to be either great or a complete bust. He's had huge holes to run through all college. I just wonder how good he is going to be when he doesnt have that. He's very elusive but I'm not sure he can run people over like what RB need to be able to do in this league. So as far as picking a RB I agree I would rather have Ronnie. But we needed a QB much more.

Now that's what I like....blind allegiance.

ronnie was the right choice when we had it. last year. all this comparing is for nothing. we sucked last year, so we picked high. we got our guy. he split time, (w/ a stud), so he didnt get respect he deserved. even if he didnt split, he still wouldnt have got the 30+ carries that caddi did. i love ronnie, and i still get goosebumps watching him run. the one against KC is my favorite.

Reggie Bush is overrated he is a product of a very good O-line just like the broncos most of those runners woudnt do much behind a differnt less talented line

I agree Brown was the best choice for last years draft. He is the all around better runner than Bush. IF they were both in the draft last year I can guarentee we would've went quarterback and picked up Young Or Leinart with our 2nd overall pick. Bush would've went ahead of Brown but in my opinion I wouldn't want anyone else in our backfield. Brown and Williams is one hell of a duo and I enjoy watching them play.

You know how ******ed that thing you said is? No runner in the NFL would do much behind a less talented line.

Would Shawn Alexander have 28 Touchdowns in a Houston Texan uniform? Highly unlikely.

Bush is not overrated. He is explosive and is an extremely talented playmaker. He will do great in the NFL, no doubt.

I love RonnieB... and I would probably take him over most of the prospects in this years draft too. He is straight nasty...

oh... and here is that play you are talking about...

I like your enthusiasm, and I love Ronnie - but take his rookie year out of the equation, and all you know about Ronnie is his career at Auburn. Then, put Vince Young, Reggie Bush and Leinart on the table.

You really think you would draft Ronnie? before any of those three? Seriously? Frankly, that's the case, we'd probably of ended up with Leinart, as Bush would have been a niner. Or, worst case, Young, who I think will be special someday.

Look, Ronnie could end up being the best pro by far out of all four, but comign out of college, you know he would be fourth on that list of four.

Coming out of college, you are probably right. However, knowing what we know now, I would take RonnieB...

No I wrote it wrong.... Bush is a very good athlete I just feel he is not worth the Hype everyone is giving him.. What I meant is that he is a product of his very good O line and system.... and in the NFL is will be playing with the BIG BOYS.

But we will see next year when he gets the ball.

Yeah, I might too. But w/ QB being such a big position .... it'd be a tough call.
