She doesn't have to be a talent evaluator. Hire the best talent evaluators. Listen to their recommendations. Implement them. Hold the talent evaluators accountable. If that doesn't work. Next...
 
We've had this problem before in Miami. See Lois Einhorn. She/ he almost killed Dan Marino. We should can her/him immediately!
 
Id have no problem with her being our GM if she was Ozzie like in her team building skills. But if social engineering is the reason she was picked, then id have a big problem with it. Dont care who the GM is dude, chick, gay, whatever, just make great picks.

Rediculous move. But nothing is past the realm of possibilities. Just don't see it.

If she cut her teeth in the scouting tree I'd have no problem. Idzik from the Jets is a perfect example of a capologist running things. How'd Geno Smith turn out?

Another thing for me,

She could a damn giraffe for all I care, but another huge point for me is that I'm sick of rolling the dice with giving people their "1st" shot at something in this organization.

We've hired 1st time head coaches here ever since we got rid of Wanny. All the GMs since Speilman got their first shot here.

I'm sick of being the testing ground for peoples careers. We need proven, solid, respected people here to put this thing back together.

The rumors of Aponte throwing Ireland under the bus doesn't sound to me like someone I would trust. I hate people that rat people out. Just not the way to act. Not the way to earn the opportunity.

She was never considered to be. She's a number's person and absolutely fantastic at it. We should be very grateful to have her dealing with our contracts and cap issues. No one has ever said in the front office that she will be a talent evaluator. No one.

I think I would dislike her more if she were a dude
 
Shouldn't the thread title read "if she were a man," not "if she was a man"? Those two things are completely different.

That being said, I would find it more strange if she was a man (and is now a woman) than if she were a man (all along).
