Think about that. If we didn't get it the Pats could have ran out the clock and if we pulled a Sparano and fist pumped a FG the Pats would have kicked a game winning FG. Instead we put the pressure on by getting the TD.

A lot of things that could have not happened and we would have lost, just like the pats could say for most of their wins. But they didn't, Fins win.

End thread/

I agree with that as well. It feels like in years past Miami would've been content to kill clock and kick the fg once in range. It was nice to see them go after the TD and get it

True. Am I missing the secret?

Huge play on fourth, it looked like it was going to be incomplete. Clay made one play all game and that was it...huge.

i thought for sure we were gonna punt...i was happy to see Philbin have the balls to go for it. Also...we didnt play for a fg. Tanny threw a very nice pass to thigpen for the td.

Going for it at that point shows that the coach has complete confidence in the QB and both have a huge pair..

Nuff said

tannehill has ice in his veins. He never seems to get rattled. He makes a mistake, he shakes it off and moves on. Right now he is ballin.

If gostkowski makes that fg earlier they only need a fg to win and probably do so. Ifs and buts man.

I personally didnt think it was even something that was especially ballsy of a call. I couldnt imagine a thought process that would lead any coach to the conclusion that not going for it gave us the best chance to win.
